+ 7 BOARD RESPONSIBILITY
Things have been getting real stupid around here lately. And with more and more stupid stuff being posted regularly it would help if more and more members stood up for what eRoids stands for.... SAFE AND RESPONSIBLE AAS USE! And I am not talking about going on bashing sprees, I am talking more of a unified front. As we all know ONE of the issues we have around here are guys coming on merely looking for someone to co-sign a bad idea and all they need is ONE to sign on the dotted line and they are off (regardless of what 10 other ranking members say)
We just had a post where a self proclaimed "amateur to steroids" put up a 5 compound cycle and with 2 MODS and several ranking members attempting to dissuade him and get him to rethink his strategy we had ONE member swoop in and co-sign... Now who do you think Mr. 5 compound member is going to listen too? You got it! The one guy who says "atta boy"!
You've seen both me and Vike get heated over this mentality because the eRoids NOW generation just can't wrap their brains around the fact that these are DANGEROUS COMPOUNDS that CAN and WILL have some serious repercussions when used irresponsibly.
We recently had one of the board "youngsters" put up a post about some "disturbing labwork" due to abuse but it was pulled due to the way it was written and the climate of the board (at the time) would have unnecessarily enflamed the board (and in all likelihood gotten the member flamed by some of out more passionate members) THIS AIN'T NO GNC GENTLEMEN!

Honestly IMO noobs will be noobs. It's time to re educate the middle of the road guys. I don't go into cycles often but the last time I did me and 4 other vets told the op he was making a mistake we could help just give us stats first. Then before the op can reply with stats some reg tagged asshole comes in cosigning and parroting a bunch of shit. He was obviously trying to earn his way up to the uber coveted lvl 1. Personally I think the hammer needs to start coming down on the advice givers. 3 days for a first a offense, 1 week for a second, and 3 strikes your out.
I JUST FOUND THIS POST FROM GFIT FROM A FEW MONTHS AGO.... I THINK ITS WORTH A READ THROUGH BY NEW MEMBERS TO TO GIVE A HEADS UP HOW THE KARMA SYSTEM OPERATES IN REAL TIME.

Here is a quick overview:
8 Karma to Rate a source
50 Karma to be able to give Karma (thumbs up) or take Karma (thumbs down)
Heart Icon is to mark it as a favorite(on your Profile page), so you can go back to it like a bookmark.
Comments that you have made on certain pages will have the thumbs buttons next to them where people can, thumbs up or down your comment, if they have at least 50 karma they can give or take karma for your post.
Posting Pics gets you 1 karma and if people like your post they will thumbs up you, again dependent on their Karma level you can receive 1-3 karma.
Certain Forum posts that you make will also have a thumbs up or down and heart icon where again you may receive or lose karma dependent on the post.
People should not thumbs down you just because they disagree, only if it violates policy.
People get banned for different reasons. The quickest way is to give a Mod shit for doing his job and keeping this place operating as it is designed.
Another way people with higher Karma get banned when they are found to be working the system to get Karma through alliances with others in order to get free gear or to push gear for a source, PM\backdoor sales, things like that are not tolerated regardless of Karma level.

As a new member to eroids, and a first time AAS user I can say that you guys make it crystal fucking clear what kind of cycle a noob should run and what kind of research should be done first.
All I can suggest is negging the hell out of anyone that "signs off" on a multi compound noob cycle.
Is there a way to take away access to sources until you prove yourself worthy in the forums first. Kind of like you need to have 6+ karma to vote, and I'm assuming it's there to make sure it's legitimate. The only access I think should be the forum to read, learn, and ask questions. Also I wouldn't allow them to post pics until a certain karma, not accusing anyone but who knows if some of these pics are actually the member that posted them. Basically get rid of the easy karma and make them work at it before they can access these great sources here on eroids.

AnonAhahahaha bro that's all that exists now on eroids is EASY KARMA!! All u gotta do is post some selfies and you'll be advanced in a few weeks and you can be on your second or third cycle and be considered ADV or EXP. Get a good camera and watch the karma blow up!
Would it be possible to put a limit on how many karma you get off a pic, or maybe a rule on how many selfies we are allowed to post over a set period of time. We have a couple karma whores putting pics up every 7 days, granted a couple of them are looking good, but when you are doing it every week for 15-20 karma it is whoring.
It has already been capped at 1 per day and we've slapped s few members for abusng THAT

AnonYa I remember how hard you worked the forums to build this place up. Your Karma was earned the way it's supposed to be earned. You change lives with the knowledge you've shared. As much as this situation bothers us, never forget how many lives you've effected on this website. It was most definitely not in vain. AnonBro I remember when I hit 100 karma. I had lived in the forums close to a year before I hit 100. I was so happy lmao!! You OG's of the board made it hard to earn karma. Yeah, I didn't think about that. I was just giving an opinion to keep teenagers from jumping on too early and others who are for sure not ready. I'm thinking only a small percentage of these ppl actually use the forum and most probably don't even make an account, just click on eroids and find a source and place the order.
Brother the reality is that a large % of members here (regardless of age) shouldn't be running gear (yet) or at the very last not be running what they are running
AnonI support this but I think folks need to understand that the way to practice this requires following the existing Rules BFG has in place. I think we should play this out with respect and understanding. My question is How and when to bring Karma deductions into the equation. If you're not old enough for someone's liking is it now ok to deduct karma? Or opinions for that matter? When is it OK for members deduct karma when they for agree with what's being posted?
I support everything said on this page 100% and practice this in the forums and everywhere else I post. But I never ever deduct karma. I've been grilled on the rules during my entire time as a member so trust me folks I know. Here's why I don't deduct karma based on my opinions

I think we can leave it to the BFG and the Mods to determine who warrants a karma deduction if there is no Rule being broken. That's just my 2¢ and coming from me that means its worth even less than that.

I used to shoot at the hip and ask questions later. I then realized I was being a fkn ass for no reason other then to voice my opinion. I learned from some folks here. I took Carlosdanger; gearhead; Vitamin; and hllwd's advice from there posts and from pm's from carlos and gear. I failed to research members before getting antsy. I now take step back and read; it's funny that everything you write here you can still find. Every comment; every stat; every pound. I will be responding now with both eyes and ears open instead of closed minded. I love this place and would hate to see myself get booted for being a dickhead to the extreme. For that I apologize.

So we take this passion we have and divert it where it is really needed and appreciated end of story.
The MOD team is only so big and u all do the very best u can. I consider myself careful but I fuck up when I come in on a well developed thread and the OP is already being offered cycle advice and the thread is going back and forth on the merits of this or that so I join in. I forget to scroll down to the very bottom of the thread where it all began where I would learn that we know NOTHING about the OP. No one asked and away we go . . . We all just need to be more vigilant - easier said than done. I also love the picture idea - no picture, no stats, no advice.

I would also like to say that when offering advice it is important to not carry a condescending or ridiculing tone no matter how stupid the proposed idea is. People should simply say "sorry there is nobody here that would be comfortable giving you advice on using steroids given your age/stats." Or "hey bro, I know of a safer cycle that will get you the results you want if you work hard". It looks bad complaining about noobs all over the forum, and it's sad that have to open so many threads about these internal issues that barely pertain to why we are here. Until a permenant solution is decided on, politely offer or not offer advice. And Ban rule breakers on the spot. If people see there is no tolerance for asking about sources in the forums then it won't happen as often.
These are just my thoughts and ideas...
