ANOTHER MODS PERSPECTIVE:
Welcome to the Democratic Republic of eRoids. BFG is The Cesar and us MODS are The Senate.
For those of you that aren’t familiar with me and my particular MOD style let’s just put it on the table. There seems to be some misunderstanding that this is a Democracy with all rights being equal… WRONG! There are no rights here, only privileges. You have all the freedoms that WE afford you. You have the freedom to post honest reviews, share information, banter back and forth and even have some heated disagreements (to a point) YES we try and be benevolent and allow you gentlemen to be MEN but there are always the FEW that make it difficult on the WHOLE. So when it comes to the final word of what? and how? and where? That is left to us. WE ARE THE LAW! You can have your cliques, campaigns and little secret societies. You can keep coming back after we BAN you but I can assure you it takes us far less time to hit the BAN BUTTON than it does for you to keep creating accounts so have at it cuz in the end what WE say GOES! We do not need to explain our decisions or actions to anyone. All you need to know is that we are acting in what is best for the board as a WHOLE. For those of you that want to cry “UNFAIR” well, you must’ve been out that day when they were teaching lifes not fair.
And most importantly regardless of styles we MODS work as a UNIT and have each others backs at every turn. Our loyalties run with the BFG, each other and the board as a whole (not the individuals)!

For what it's worth, if being a MOD means you'll spend less time in the forums I vote no. Lol, I know selfish of me.
It would consume some of my time, but most of my time is now controlled by work and home life. I had the same selfish thought when i retired my tag, to be able to cruise the site and not be consumed with whats going on.

You do what has to be done. You recently gave the axe to somebody that I didn't care for, but I would have rather seen the guy change styles than be ejected. You provided the opportunity, he didn't take it. This should be a place where we support each other and build each other up and watch each others backs. Some of us go south sometimes, I know I have, and none of the MODs rushed in for the kill. You can say your the bad mod but I've never seen you axe somebody on a whim. There's always a damn good reason.
Did Michael Jordan and Dr. J have the same game? Did they both have a crazy sky hook? Did Cassias Clay and Mike Tyson mirror each other's style? Alrrriiiggty then! Were they both great champions? It's ok, you can say it! We know. Every one of my partners carries out his job in his own style under the mod code! We fly the same flag and work for the same team. Doesn't mean any of us is more or less effective than the other or that all of us won't or don't band together when one is opposed! This is the bottom line, if you encounter one of us during an infraction , you will either walk away really pissed off in the end and carry that negative energy into the next account you make which in turn just makes more work for me. I don't feel like chasing down anymore monster666's. Or you'll walk away saying "hhmm, that makes sense. I didn't really think of it that way. Sorry. I won't do it again." And from there you become a productive member and learned something in the process. To each his own right! I tend to believe you get more bees with honey than you do vinegar. Some mods believe that it's better to seek and destroy. Kick in the door and start shooting. Fuck the questions. None of us are wrong or right. Styles of operation mixing create a nice balance. Can't have everyone thinking the same way. That would be no fun,..don't forget the Bottom of H's post!
I don't have a knee jerk reaction to smash things but stand against anyone with a red tag and you're gona get all of us! Regardless of the intangibles.
You guys all do a great job at keeping the board clean I have no complaints on that front. But this whole "I am the bad mod" license to be a dick thing is not cool either. The vast majority of us come here because we enjoy the people, not just because we are looking for juice. When members are made to feel like "we don't care if you frequent this site or not", "you are all stupid" etc, we lose good people that have a lot to offer to this community.
I hope you guys understand where I am coming from, I like you all and have never had cross words with any of you. I am simply speaking from my own observations and point of view.
There are 1000's of members that I am completely unaware of and 100's of regulars I have never even have had an interaction with... Why is that? Because I'm not here to male friends. I have my own real life friends that I roll with. I am here to moderate and make the board habitable for ALL members and not just the "cool kids" You guys want to hang around and socialize, cool, NOT IN MY JOB DESCRIPTION... and for the record I do more than my fair share of helping out around here (mostly quietly) but most of you as too tuned into drama to notice that aspect... One thing is certain though, I am consistent and those that aren't lurking,sneaking or doing dirty shit here and are just regular members doing regular shit have nothing to worry about, your not even a blip on my screen... The "lets all just love each other" approach sounds appealing but human nature dictates differently
I hear what you are saying and I don't disagree but there is a middle ground to be had.
I get that you have real friends outside of here, I would bet most of us do, for many of these guys though the friends they have here are the only ones they can be honest with about what we are all doing. Point is they mean something to them. Look , I know you are going to do what you do , it is what it is, I am simply offering another view instead of the usual..
I don't waste my time with people outside of eroids. I have one person I consider a real friend and we help each other chase our dream, bodybuilding champions/powerlifting/strongman we have something positive to offer and we feed off of that, everyday we meet up at the gym and we always have something new to teach each other.... here its the same, theres a lot more people here, for the same purpose I am and that along with the anonymousism if find it easy to talk to others. This place has the ability to help you unlock your fullest potential you just have to keep your head out of your ass and focus on the task at hand and inturn that will keep you focus in the long run. +1
