+ 4 Zinc while on Testosterone

ad

Hello guys, I've been doing a ton of research on Zinc the mineral, it has tons of benefits and it's something I've been taking for about a year.
For you that aren't aware of the benefits here's a few:
Reduces inflammation- Zinc has anti inflammatory properties, it's great at reducing redness and size of zits all over your body. I know this because I personally had terrible acne before I got on a zinc supplement.
Zinc also helps reduce acne production by reducing the oil released by the gland in the skin.
Immune system- Zinc help build a strong immune system. Nobody likes getting sick on cycle it's just terrible.

Estrogen blocking properties- Zinc has been shown to increase Free testosterone in men by preventing the conversion of testosterone into estradiol. This and the acne fighting benefits are my favorite, that's y I feel like this info can help a few of you guys fight some unwanted side effects. I hope this info helped a bit:)

I agree with you. ZMA is a great supp.

look for ZMA at your local suppliment shack - its not a replacement for an a.i. but it has other beneficial vitamins too

I say YES,,,useful supplement that the general public is deficient in anyway.

Hmm never knew that about zinc. I work outside in shitty weather so I take zinc and vitamin C everyday to hold off any sickness.

I was just sick and felt like shit, so I started the vitamin C and zinc combo, it worked well. Within a day and a half I was fine.

Zinc is the main ingredient in those flavored cold-ez lozenges, the ones that help you get better faster. Vitamin C boosts the immune system and acts as an antihistamine with high doses.

You dont want to take too much or it can be toxic.
I like taking a dose before bed ZINC/COPPER blend.
Helps with sleep.

Great info guys:)
Zinc is a great mineral and it should defiantly be included in our daily lifestyle. I'm most impressed with its ability to fight acne. This stuff did wonders for me

Zinc is a great compound to incorporate in one's lifestyle. Zinc however does not have any estrogen blocking properties (that would indicate it acts like a SERM). What zinc does do is exhibit mild AI Properties, But they are so mild that you will still need an AI, even on TRT dosages let alone cycle dosages. And remember an AI (or compound that acts like it) is completely different from a SERM (or compound that acts like it). To put it into layman's terms. An AI will help prevent elevated E2 whereas a SERM will not. A SERM will help deal with some very specific side effects of high E2 (like gyno) But not all side effects associated with high E2.

Diindolylmethane is an over-the-counter supplement that exhibits much better AI properties and has a synergistic effect when coupled with zinc. as a matter of fact when the two are combined it is often enough for a lot of TRT patients to manage their E2 without an AI. Those on a cycle would still require an AI

I hope this helps.
