The intimidation of the Tapout shirt.
So the other day, I was at a public event and ran into an of acquaintance of mine from high school. It was evident that he was juicing. Not huge but knowing his genetics, it was pretty evident to me. He was wearing an "American Fighter" t-shirt. This made me laugh on the inside. This kid wasn't a damn fighter. The last fight he had was in the seventh grade and he got his ass kicked by a fat chick. Now his ass is a bartender at Applebee's.
so this leads me to my thought for the day. What is your impression when you see someone wearing a Tapout or American fighter t-shirt or the likes? Are you intimidated? Does it make you think twice before messing with a fella? I can see the intimidation effect that they might have and really, head games can really carry some weight in a fight. But does it carry much weight with you, my eroider friends?
Me, I see that shit and laugh. The only thing that tells me is that they like to watch the fights on TV. This kid, because he was big and fit could probably be confused with a fighter. However, I know for a fact that he couldn't fight his way out of a wet pair of man panties.

I've heard sumo wrestlers train themselves to suck their nuts into their bellies during a match. Not sure if this is true, but one would be smart to learn the technique. Perhaps one could have a tap out shirt that reads on the back: "I know how to suck my nuts into my belly when I fight. So don't even try to kick me in the nuts bitch!"
I agree with all, but with one exception: Nads. If they guy is on gear, it's very possible that when you swing for his nads, you will only be hitting loose skin. ;-).

I will sometimes think twice... until i see the rhinestone studded pockets on the jeans. Then i think, "wow, that guy has a really nice ass and i DO love shiny things." By that point ive totally forgotten about the whole thing.
I posted this yesterday in another thread. These are the only shirts that "intimidate" me. Not because I'm afraid the dude is gonna kick my ass. I'm worried that someone wearing this shirt may go "postal" because he just ain't right in the head.

I used to like the affliction/AF shirts a couple years ago, but then I started seeing all these out of shape, weak looking cats wearing them and realized I can no longer be caught dead wearing them.
I have won and lost my share of brawls but I have noticed since I bulked up no one wants to fight anymore. Or maybe it is that I am 40 and just not that same asshole anymore,lol.
I do still work the heavy bag once a week just in case but I think my fighting days are past me now.
MMAwearhouse has a lot of cool shirts if you are looking for stuff that has a better chance of fitting the likes of us.

tap out is a huge brand here in Australia, it doesn't bother me, I wear it, now if their wearing some form of gang or bikie clothing that's another story, I will deliberately go out of my way to punch on with them.
