Lower back injury
Hey guys, Mickey here. I have a quick question for all of you.
I am not a newbie when it comes to lifting. I am no pro but I do my research and learn through experience. Right now I'm training Westside barbell style which involves a speed(dynamic) and max effort day. During my 1 rep max box squat yesterday I felt no pain. after going to work I noticed my left lower back start to get more sore as I would bend over and come back up. it just started to get aggravated. I woke up this morning and its severely sore. I also have disc problems in my back(herniated) but this does not feel like its related to that. Its on a completely different place with different pain. Still the pain is strong enough to make movement limited. I am just trying to refrain from having to go to the urgent care for something again until I explore all options.
I am thinking it is the erector and just needs time to heal up. Does anyone have any experience with something like this? I would greatly appreciate the input.
I am not cycling currently and will be off indefinitely.

Sounds like a strained muscle to me, I have had hundreds of them and if they're not near the spine it's muscle. Although as always I could be wrong and it's been know to happen. Lol
