MRI Results/ Kind advice please and thank you.
My current PM Dr and my chiropractor have my only MRI results copy's.
I would gladly upload photos of it to your confidence in your helpful advice regarding
the exercises I may should research. For example, Dead lifts are out.
The MRI stated that I had Disc herniation and Desiccation. One of the disc "slips" and needs a fusion which as far as i am concerned is out of the question for the time being. This was a low back MRI scan.
In the past i had initial physical therapy and when I repeated the outlined exercises it was far too painful.
I feel like most would advise not to do what hurts too sharply. I also feel the extreme depression from having such an important part of my life, my health and gym routine where no one can touch or bother me, being torn from me. I've had great success in the past when I simply ordered and sling shot cycled 8 weeks on at 750 of test E with 2 weeks off with pct. then back on 8 weeks. I plan to do this again soon and claw my way out of this trench via Bruce lee movies as motivation. He had a broken back.
Sorry for the scatter brain post, I tried to make it as linear as i possibly can.
Any names for workouts you believe have helped you with your back injuries or general low back pain would be much appreciated. I have done allot of research on this but I feel as though a shared experience is so much more valuable and respect any input. I will gladly look and research any/all work out exercises you name. any notes on specific technique I should note with also be carefully studied.
thanks so much.

I had a 8mm disc herniation at my L4-L5 disc which I incurred 2009. Two years ago I got tired of the pain meds and flat out frustrated that my Dr would not allow me to get back in the gym because the risk of injury was too high. A year and a half ago I went against my Dr's orders and went back to the gym. I started doing high reps sets, I dont squat anymore but I do Hack squat, leg press, extensions, and hit hamy's. I think the key is to listen to your body and use common sense with your injury.
Since I went back to the gym I went from taking 3 norcos a day and getting epidural shots, to taking one norco (at times none) and no more back injections. A month ago I went back for an MRI and received my results a week ago (mainly because my primary Dr is horrible) from my pain management Dr, she took a double look at the sheet as I asked "So is it good or bad news? Mind you I was getting ready to do surgery this coming summer. She stated "this doesn't happen often but it seems that your disc has reabsorbed itself and place itself back in position. My hernia went from 8mm (huge herniation) to a 2-3mm mild herniation. With that said I do hack squat and go about 540lbs x16 reps I can easily go up two more plates but due to the pressure I feel in my back I don't push it. Also oddly enough I also deadlift but only up to 225 every so often I usually stay at about 185. I also do a lot of abs workouts (weak stomach = back pain) I gradually worked myself up to my weight always keeping in mind that I am running cycles and strength will be there.
Dr basically told me what ever your doing your doing good just keep in mind that it could slip back out if your not careful. I've been training since I was 14 which is 19 years now. My best advice is play it smart and always listen to your body I for one stay away from squats which was hard at first because that was my bread and butter but i understand that I am not able to.
Where is your hernia and how big is it?
If you have any question FR me bro I would will gladly help where I can Also have my Dr note so you could see the actual results if you'd like. You could still do what you love just in a control method bro don't listen to those that tell you , you cant. Best of luck with the injury
One last thing never take your pain meds then workout because you want to feel any discomfort and risk progressing the injury further
Thanks so much Ill have to add you for sure. Ill make a more respectable response VIA pm. I would love to see those results too. Its sounds very much like what i had in mind.
Ill PM you the MRI stats soon as i get them back. I may have a spare laying around in a portfolio.
Talk to you soon. thumbs up.
For sure Mac, I feel what your going through bro I to felt the depression and concern. What made it worst was that I went to my therapy and I asked the last helping if I would ever be at least 80% looking for words of encouragement and she flat out told me no! That I would never be able to run and do things I did before that really poised me off and I stopped going because of her. Lol at the end it worked out because my own regimen ended up helping I'll send you the copy of my results so you could see bro just want to give you hope because I've been there and it sucks
