Anavar and menstration
What's up ladies?? Not very often that I get to come to y'all's side of town for advice, but I could use some insight.
My lady has been wanting to get back into the gym with me. We have some var put up for her, as well. This will be her second run with it, btw. Last run kept her period really light. Just some spotting and mild cramping.
I'm curious what you guys think about timing the var around menstration cycles. She is in her period now, of course.
I don't know the ins and outs with the female body in terms of these things. But common sense tells me that the dht characteristics are what causes the mild periods or lack thereof. So, it would make sense to never introduce an aas compound during a time when the reproductive system is undergoing a change, otherwise you could cause harm by halting the process mid stream.
But how long should you guys wait, or am I completely off base?

you're kind of off base when you talk about interrupting a cycle or changes... the body is contsantly undergoing change and cycling .. It doesn't matter when you start the cycle and assuming that she is running it for more than 28 days you are going to "interfere" so to speak with the cycle. Any introduction of an exogenous substance is going to force the body to try and reach homeostasis .. how it does that is usually more specific to the person as one can't alway speak to what exactly is going on as far as physiology is concerned .. honestly if you are concerned about making any changes to the reproductive/endocrine system you shouldn't be introducing aas.
Yes. I realize that the body is constantly undergoing changes. But I'm more specifically talking about while the body is shedding its uterus. This process is hormone dictated and what I was curious about was what sort of damage, if any, could be caused by changing the communication signals being sent by introducing exogenous hormones. IUD's and implants, as well as depot shots, are used medically to prevent periods all together for extended times. Right now, however, the natural hormones are signaling the process of shedding the uterus. Interrupting that isn't really the same as preventing it. Does that make sense?
testosterone/dht derivatives arent used to prevent or interrupt cycles.. what interupts the process is the body's "adjustment" to something added..progestins specifically.. and when the something added is removed the body will again readjust back to "normal" .. so yes your question makes sense in that you are talking about a possible interruption to shedding the uterus but your introduction of 10mg of var relatively speaking is like spitting in the wind at that point ... she can start it when ever
I d be more concerned about adding deca/npp at high dosages with concerns for prolactin build up as well as conversion to estrogen which will definitely do things to alter the menstrual cycle
That's the kind of answer I was hoping for. Much appreciated
not a problem Doss ;-)
Anavar affects periods even when I was on birth control. However my body still retained water like it always does normally before my period. I ended up having to take water pills to dry out. My period came the next month 2 weeks after I stop anavar. I don't think its terrible to miss a period since losing weight sometimes causes that as is.
Thanks. Def appreciate the input from a woman's perspective.
D.. It's Anbro.. I'm updating my phone.. My last cycle of var I started just a few days before my period.. And it still came like clock work. Honestly my period was stronger while on var which is completely different from most ladies. Var however shouldn't aromatize so the concern of estro isn't an issue and generally the reason why the period becomes lite to little. I will be on shortly I will hit you up....thanks a for letting me hack your account
Lol. Right on, girl. Gotta watch that new update. It caused me to be late for work
Today.
Really? What happened? I like it so far but it just came up.... As for the Var.. I personally would suggest starting when she knows her hormones are the most stable.. For most women that's not durning cycle however for some (like the crazy chick I work with) that's her most stable time. I would suggest having labs done and if everything's good start it then.. You can't tell just by mood what's going on, labs are the only way also she will have a starting point to look at of something came up while running..... But you know all this! :-) you're smarter than the average bear
she takes birth control, so he hormones are regulated synthetically anyways.
as for the iOS, i set it to update before going to sleep. when it finished downloading and installing, i had to go thru the setup steps manually before it started working again. well, i was asleep when it finished. woke up 2 hours late because the alarm never went off. once i setup the phone, the damn alarm goes off... 2hrs late...
what's funny about the whole story is i am rarely late for work. yesterday, i was 3 minutes late and them slave driving bastards docked me 15 minutes. i didn't make a big deal out of it, but i def expressed my opinions about how i'm never late and shit. then i strolled up in there today late as fuck with a "my dog ate my homework" excuse. lmao
