+ 2 What are some creative things you eat or drink for PROTEIN?

I've always wondered what other people consume besides Protein powder and food of course, to add extra protein to their diet. I used have an over stock of liquid egg white brand " All whites", I used to drink this from the carton.I was taught that cooking it decreases its nutritional value and there is no need to cook it due to it being pasteurized. It does have a lot of protein per carton and actually doesn't taste bad. What are some things you might have taken for extra protein?

Not a big fan of powders! I try to get mine from liquid egg whites mixes with a sweetner and cinnamon and meats! although sometimes I treat myself to a muscle milk from the store! Bodybuilders told me your body knows better what to do with the whole foods! But I will say this!! Better take a digestive enzyme with the egg whites cause if not you wont have many friends due to the stink!! Hell its bad enough even with the enzyme Smile

Egg whites! I just started drinking them. 50g protein per small carton. I'm going to drink 1 carton a day just cause it is an easy 50g protein that takes less than 5 mins to consume and egg is a perfect form or protein your body and muscle cells effectively absorb and use.

I mix my egg whites with nesquick it takes funky but better than plain egg whites. Any suggestions to make egg whites taste good? I don't like to cook them I just want to drink it fast and not waste time

I have a Vita Mix, so I can make shakes with just about anything in them.
I can only take so much food until I get tired of it. The thought of meat right now makes me wanna puke.

Same here... I just had a shake with 45g whey isolate, apple, banana, 2 slices of high 5 fiber bread, peanut butter, milk and yogurt...

I'll be lucky to get through the day without puking... Only 4 more meals to go. Lol

I use eas soy protein with honey creamy peanut butter and imitation vanilla and sometimes a banana. 2% milk. Shit is fire.

Im a cottage cheese fan too, I throw a little "molly sprinkle cheese" on it( learned this from watching Ronnie Coleman) before bed as a late night snack and im gtg. Shit, never thought of eating protein powder though, ill start of with adding it to cottage cheese. The different variations will help break up the the monotony of just a typical shake.

I too do the egg whites, I add a splash of vanilla almond milk to get it a little flavor. Not bad at all seeing as its something like 6 grams of protein in 3tbsp

Yea, I heard the almond milk is the way to go. Now im pondering almond milk, egg whites and protein powder in a shake. Pure protein madness!

im not a food guru but my understanding of almond butter is it has good fats in it. Post workout I run whey, Id take this about 30 min preworkout or just as a source of protein during the day. personally I take in carbs before workouts, it makes me feel like I have more energy.

Its actually has no taste, kinda taste like water. However don't look at it while drinking it, it looks nasty. Is the milk in your banana, peanut butter and cornflake concoction? Ill try anything once though.lol

Tried it, but didnt like the taste. Lol if they said you could gain 15 lbs of muscle drinking it though, it would be a sad day for my 4 month old. Lol jk
