I take finesteride and i know its making my E2 pretty high from the bloating i get and sensitive nips, i have to stay on fin for at least another 8 years so i was wondering if i could take a low dose of adex like .25 twice a week off cycle forever? or will this be bad for my lipids and stuff? i know people on trt do it sometimes

While not exactly the same as the issue you are having, but TRT docs are putting their patients on adex (1 tab twice a week) along with HCG as standard treatment. And we all know that once you are on TRT it is a lifetime situation. So I would think that adex would be safe to use.
this is a question you should be asking your doctor, not an internet forum.
You mention having to take fina for 8 years. Is this for prostate? If so then your doctor should be dealing with this.
no i meant that i WILL need to keep taking it that long because i want to keep my hair, i take it for hairloss. i know the docs will just tell me to get off fin,deff not gonna prescribe me adex cuz i wanna save my hair
they will tell you to get off any illegal drug lol.
If you went and got a real prescription for finasteride I'm sure your doc would also considering an adex prescription too.
I hope you know the possible side effects of taking finasteride especially since you are self prescribing. No adex is not too bad on cholesterol. You can get bloods done to confirm (another reason why you should be seeing a DOCTOR about this and not doing it yourself).
Finasteride is the best drug ive tried for my prostate in all my life. Yes, there are studies that show you have a 1-2% of impotence, and about 5% total of somekind of sexual problem. But would you rather get up to pee 5x a nite and never use gear again as weall know testosterone will keep pressure on your prostate to enlarge. Me, i just wrote a long post about it. I feel at 25, id have too much to lose if finasteride messed me up. Whats the worst that could happen now, i will become impotent, and have the baddest body in my town, and at 54 you cant do shit without viagra anyway. For me its a no brainer. take the finasteride and hope the gear doesnt overcome it as they both battle for yur prostate. Also the 2 studies I read showed that even with sexual dysfunction, it is reversable 50% of the time upon cessation of the drug. Im too old to start worrying about this shit. and if my prostate gets out of hand, i will just have to have surgery. There mightbe as few other good posts on fina if you search. good luck!
its not like i need a doctor to tell me im going bald lol, propecia is expensive as hell and proscar can only be split into 1.25mg doses, i take a very low dose of .25mg generic fin to keep away from side effects so its my best option to use online pharmacies.

Well you can get the script but not actually fill it. Then you doctor knows you are taking it (they don't know if you got it from pharmacy or online).
THEN you can have your DOCTOR order a blood test to confirm your high estrogen when then they will decide if arimidex is right for you. At that point they can also monitor your cholesterol.
But sounds like you got this in your hands so best of luck to you. You will be fine on adex it's a relatively safe long term drug.

No problem! I know blood tests are very expensive and through your insurance it's usually free, so yea it might end up saving you money depending on your ins.
