I know that sperm count is affect by aas. My question is how soon is it effective or we talking about in days or weeks. Does it matter if its short esters, long esters, 19 nors?
Reason I am asking this I was planning to start my cycle of test p, test cyp yesterday evening but then I notice I didn't have any alcohol pads to sterilize with. Was going to go buy some needed more anyway. Then I remember I need to go do a sperm sample. So I started to ponder the question how soon is sperm affected.
Also would make the sperm abnormal aswell or just low.
Any Help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

I'd imagine its takes as long as an ester would to shut you down.... Once that happends your count goes down
Would be a great idea, like said below, run a before and after test to help educate the community
it'll be low and likely all the strong swimmers (male sperm) will be in even shorter supply. But it only takes ONE brother.
AnonHow soon would it get low. Would it be a couple of days cause of the test p or would it still be weeks.
i would imagine within a week. But only way to know for sure would be take a before and after test.. would be awesome to post those results
Anonit would be might need to just wait a week longer to start my cycle and take it now then wait about a 2 to 3 weeks and take another.

BirmonCan I ask why you need to "go do a sperm sample"? Are you trying to have children? I never had a count done. But I have a 2 year old daughter and one on the way, both were conceived mid cycle.
AnonYes me and wife are trying for another right now we going to a fertility/endo Dr. She was diagnosed with Pcos. The Dr. Still wants a sperm count just to cover both sides.
Brother, I would say just hold off til you have the baby business taken care of. Why risk it?
Anonwell because it might be months before everything is actually ready for us to actually try instead of just practiceing lol.
With her having PCOS she needs to get that undercontrol thats a bout a 3 to 4 month process aswell as she needs to lose some weight to help with it to be a succesful pregancy instead of a miscarriage.
