Getting tested for testosterone, estradiole, thyroid for 59-79 dollars?

ad

Guys,

A couple of you said because Im having such chronic fatigue, I should go to :personallabs.com and for like $59 if you ask for the female test version you will get this: Includes: Estradiol, Thyroid Profile with TSH, FSH & LH, Testosterone, Highly Sensitive.

The problem is this is $175 here in FL. Am I hittng on the right test? There is nothing less than $175 on the whole site for testosterone and estradiol. I dont see a male version for under $99 either. Did the prices go up, and how will I learn to read the results? Just see where they circles the numbers? But if its high or low, how do I know what is the most I want to go up or down to? Anyway, its the cash that concerns me now. I cant afford to buy gear and pay for this test.

Any other ideas, guys?

I saw Frank Zane at age 50 ABOUT 12 YRS ago when he was on the cover of a book for older bodybuilders. The guy looked better then ,then at his peak in his 30's! Thats a guy who had to have peaking down to a science. To say he finally would have beaten Arnold easily would have been an understatement. His abs were Christmas Turkey carved! I remember being a seminar of his in Vegas 25 yrs ago and he said something we "over 40's" really can appreciate...NOW! He told me that he only enters one contest per year because 1-its going to give him a lot more "shots at it" as its easier on his body.(probably meant gear also) and also he said that when you plan each year, one at a time, its more certain and often easier to get the outcome you desire." Wow...I wish I really got that 25 yrs ago!

But knowing when to peak(in all areas) to me is one of the most fascinating subjects Id actually like to study, as I am considering becoming a life-coach with Anthony Robbins co. I remember being "almost 30" and was playing 7 card stud and hold em for a living for several years. And I started to notice that each of the previous nights I didnt pick up on my opponents easy "tell" that he had the nuts several times and it cost me money. So I took a few weeks off. When I came back, I never was as sharp as I was at age 25.

. Wisely I left LV altogether and became a stockbroker and then a trader. But just to wax whimsical here for a moment guys...."Knowing in every area of life where and when your peak is, and if it is worth hanging on for, could solve 80% of every mans problems. Be it bodybuilding or relationships. My next cycle will tell me all I need to know. You guys have been great. I cant wait to get my energy back and start a relationship with a "little green muscular monster" we all know of here. -)

thanks rusty. I have a female endocronologist on it now. problem is she wants to do bloodwork, come back in 7 weeks, try new meds....bloodwork, come back in 7 weeks, that kinda thing. when you have crap insurance you take what you can take. and sadly i think they will never get past my low functioning thyroid. but lets see.............. you guys were a big help.thanks!

Hey Rusty, I'm in constant learning mode so I have to ask, can some steroids cause you to feel very fatigued? Or is that only when you have high estrogen or some other hormone issue?

If its me youre speaking of you are right. Its called hypo-thyroidism and unfortunayely 8 yrs of doctors fiddling with my med dosages and trying differnt thyroid drugs have dome nothing to let me sleep at night as it gives me roaring insomnia and does nothing fo increase my energy. But on my own I have started taking clomazopin( cousin to vallium) to calm me down and after a week of wacked out sleep and taking 5-6 hrs to fall asleep I am just now feeling a bit more energy. over 50 m Americans have low or high thyroid. My question is: WHY!!!! And why do doctors not care about the organic cause of it and just treat the symptom? Wtf am I talking about. How many of us here are on trt forever because we dont know how our testosterone "just got too low." All by itself? Thank God I wasnt in that catagory. You guys have been very helpful. I hope I dont get sucked in for more cash by these natural doctors who cant wait to sell me their own brand of supplements. I was smart enough to overlook the pro-biotics scam altogether. Lets all live till 90, still be training at 88, and look like Vince Gironda when we die. Amen to that!!!!

Guess even Arnold will have that one day, that tipping point where he yells to Maria from his basement gym..."Honey, lets go for a drive. I dont have the energy to work out today. And that day becomes the next week, and that next week becomes forever. LETS USE IT WHILE WE GOT IT. I AINT DEAD YET AT 54! LOL

Rusty, you dont wanna know what the opiate "mimicking" painkillers called Tramadol have done to my energy to work out. Crash!Im on em 3 yrs. Cant get off. And if you stop using them, you can go weeks-months with even lower energy before your body "normalizes" itself. Thats a habit i wish I never formed. Yet I admit, I can sleep at night with 3 ruptured disks with these pills where as before i could not. So which is worse. Either way your quality of life suffers. I predict the next new "legitimate" thing for pain is going to be some kind of electrical or chemical stimulation that sends enormous amount of blood flow to heal the affected area combined with nutrition "and" basic stretching or light weight exercises. In other words ,we need real pain clinics in todays world....not pill mills. We are still in the 19th century for simple things like pain mgmt. Anyone disagree?

BTW...my thyroid is not getting better. Back to the endocronologist.

its when your hormones are unbalanced that you can feel like this. if you really screw up you can mess up your axis, which will mess up how alot of things work together in your body.
