+ 2 Is it just me or is karma being handed out like candy lately?
Lately i have seen people still with the "NEW" above their name and chillin at 70 karma. because they posted some pics up themselves they receive 20 karma? I find this a joke. Karma should be earned in ways such as:
-solid advice on Cycling and PCT
-Interacting daily with the eroids community
-Progress Pics (with obvious progress)
-Diet and workout advice.
****Forgot to add LAB testing**** def. a major help to the eroids community.
These are the things that our high ranking members have offered to us and earned their karma
Now your going to think, "wow this dude is butthurt cause hes not getting karma" and honestly its not about that. Its about earning your status as a contributing member. Newbies come on here and look at your karma and think "im gunna take advice from this guy." turns out, the dude he went to for advice doesnt know what hes talking about cause he got his 50 karma by posting pics.
What im trying to suggest is, moderate the distribution of karma. make people earn that shit...id honestly be at about 30 karma if just based off advice and progress pics taken.
Thats fine, as long as i contribute and make sure newbie gets his cycle an pct down right.

when i first joined, i wanted karma, mostly to be taken serious by other members, i saw karma as "experience and knowledge" now i just do my part, come on, give advice, read a bit and if i get karma thats cool, but not a big deal.
agreed and don't take karma over bitter grapes realy pisss me off when that happens

But anyway dont get too wrapped up in it...its only a number and dont really matter...all that really matters is that you have enough to vote....and that you are hear for right reasons is all tht matters i dont care if i gain any or not.....i just like being here its interesting and fun and love learning and helping....thats it
"new" member with like 70 karma just because they post pics of their wives tits covered in dbols, or have a sob story on why they started to juice, or females (members gf's) who don't know much about gear but they are high ranked cuz they post half naked pics, etc.
It's all politics man, some earn their stay, some are handed everything. Such is life.
It doesn't really matter to me though, mostly decent ppl around here regardless of their karma levels.

lemme play devils advocate for a second - its like viking says about posting selfpics ... they show that you practice what you preach. ive seen plenty of guys that have a pretty good amnt of karma and post solid as shit advice in the forums, but im one of the guys that peeps profiles on dudes like this (i know im not the only one) and if they dont have self-pics its a lot harder for me to place the same value in their advice. sure thats not exactly right, but i guess its one if those, dont talk about it if you aint really about it, type of deals. its harder for me to take peoples advice to heart and as seriously if theres doubt as to whether or not they follow it themselves. is this making sense? am i out of line?
its kinda like when u are in the gym and all the personal trainers seem out of shape well (techinally not out of shape since round is a shape) but anyway and u ask yourself how do people pay these trainers when they cant even keep themselves in shape

RustyhookerI hear ya! Social media by itself can be irritating at times. I get edgy time to time as well. If ya see off/bad info state a full explanation to the op of proper use and why. Hard part is the op that wont listen...grrrr! But they probably want to "hear" a gtg no matter who replies. Live n learn...they'll be back for sure....
a lot of times when these guys get 20-30 karma posting a pic its cause they're beast or usually pros or higher ranking members and mods. its getting credit where credit is due. Even though i can see where it gets old when someone does this 3/4 days in a row and gets 100 karma but hey im not hatin. I would want the same if i was in that condition....
Dont get me wrong, there are some beasts on here. and they deserve credit for achieving that physique. but if this beast were to post pics everyday and call things proress...i just dont see the point. im still gunn praise the guy for his incredible physique but im not gunna award him karma everytime he posts a pic. lol. idk maybe this is just me.
