Some help
Well ladies I need some question answeared so I might be able to help my wife out.
See she had a miscarrage about a year ago. Well i couple of months she was ready to try and get pregant but her ovulation was way out of whack one month might be 60 days between cycles then next might be 30 days.
So her ob/gyn put her on some clomid to get her her ovulation more regulated he did state her hormones or not exactly right aswell but he was hoping the clomid would help that promblem. So she done these for two month the last month of this regime he uped the dose still the levels were not high enough to show a good ovulation through blood test.
So now we going to a fertilty specialist. So now is there anything I can ask or my wife can ask so we can get her hormone lvl in check. Also she has had some issues that point to tryoid issiuse but everytime we go to see about the tryoid it is some how back to normal is this also plauseable.
Any insight would be nice.
Thanks again to the Ladies of Eroids

AnonWell i have a semi update on my wife's problem. The Dr we went visit today which was a Fetility/endo specialits seems to think its Polysystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) which cause the hormones to get out of whack, to produce tones of insulin but don't work to keep down blood sugers. It also makes it extremly hard to lose weight because to the increase insulin makes the person want to keep eating becuase the never feel full.
The list goes on with symptoms.
I d like to know WHY the hormones are out of whack ... also, thryoid normal or low normal.. the issue is that just because her level says it is normal in relation to other people doesn't mean that she doesn't experience symptoms that would indicate otherwise. you need to find a doctor that is willing to think outside of the box here ... throwing a bandaid on something doesn't make it allright ... so again we get back to the issue of WHY isn't she ovlulating like "normal"
AnonThey say normal but I think its low normal for thyroid have not seen the results. Also that was done a yearor two ago.
Now like I said above we have a appt. With a specialist that by law if its hormonal he has to address the problem first before any kind a feirtilty drug.
I really just want to know what ask so all base are covered.
yes but don't let him use the range to say she is fine ..especially if she is low or low normal
AnonThanks grrrl
