I put up my shoulder workout

AnonDumbell/barbell military press
Seated/standing dumbell/cable lateral raises
Seated/standing dumbell/cable front raises
Upright rows dumbell/barbell/cable
Bent over rear delt raises
So many different variations keep switching your routine. Shock your muscles.
Had shoulder surgery about 7 years ago and am not able to do heavy overhead pressing anymore. Have to do all iso work with dumbbells and cables. Drop sets and negatives to change it up. But honestly I get just as much with these if not more as I use to when I was younger and did heavy presses.
AnonDumbbell flys and cable flys in different variations to hit rear and front dealts
I think the rule of thumb for maximising results is heavily reliant on 2 simple rules... To train the front of your shoulders 'anterior deltoids' you need to 'push' weight (barbell military Arnold etc) and to train the back of the shoulders 'posterior deltoids' you need to use pulling type exercises.. Rowing chin-ups chainsaws etc..
RustyhookerDelts need way more than that. Volume to grow. 6-8sets of 12-15.
Military press, seated DB press/Arnold press, laterals, front hammers, bent over laterals, rear flies, uprights if there's energy left...lol. Yes..that's my shoulder day.
Sounds like a good workout and I didn't mean that's all I do I usually blast shoulders but those are just a couple of my favorites to do
RustyhookerAhhhh! Sorry....there's been a few guys lifting with just 2-3 exercises and were frustrated.
Fully agree with bbuilder on behind neck press.
Dumbbell or barbell press is probably the best for overal delt development. Careful with those behind the head press movements, this can lead to some nasty injuries. If you must do em go light and focuse on form, personally I would recommend em.
No1the best is whatever works the best for you, i personally find side lateral raises to be better than any press
