Cookies that are okay

These were in Men's fitness. The recipe is by Olympian Greg Rutherford. Tried these and they turned out well. Have not tried anything other than vanilla protein powder, but I'm experimenting with S'mores flavor this weekend. I figure you can't go wrong there. The nutrition levels are sourced through MF and will obviously vary based on your protein powder choice, but they give you a good general guideline.

Yields 24 cookies

1 cup oats
1 cup raisins
1 cup shredded coconut
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 egg whites
½ bag mixed crushed nuts
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 banana, mashed
1 tbsp honey or sugar free maple syrup

Nutrition stats (per cookie)
Calories: 238

Protein: 15g

Carbs: 43g

Fat: 2g

Fibre: 8g

Method
Preheat your oven to 180°C. Grease a cookie tray.

Mix all the dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately. Then combine. Form approximately 24 cookies and bake on the tray for 10-15 minutes until slightly browned.

If yield is 24 cookies x 15g protein that's saying there is 360g of protein in those ingredients. I'm not seeing where that's coming from?

I just noticed your comment. Good eye. I made the cookies but copied and pasted the nutritional values. You'll get a little extra protein from some of the other ingredients, but that is high. Maybe add about 14 extra scoops of protein powder!
