Diet and Cycle: Ramp up or dive in?

I was wondering if anyone out there "ramps up their diet" knowing that their test (long esters) will not be at their max levels at first... or if they just "dive in"

Brother there's good thought in either way IMO.
The ramp up actually makes more sense from a science standpoint but at the same time, placebo tends to throw science around a lil bit and drive it crazy. I guess I like dive in, get that brain kickin and make it know "its on!"

That's a given -food is King. But at my age, Eating 5000 cal like I had the metabolism of a 20 year old will get me fat. -Unless I'm doing a ton of cardio.
So I ponder... has anyone "ramped" up there diet to avoid putting on a few unwanted pounds the first week on cycle?
RustyhookerFood is king doesn't mean eating like your 20. Im 42 now so to push high calories they have to be clean or yes...cardio. Bleh..not a cardio fan.
