+ 2 Using TB-500, BPC-157 Peptides for dog.

My 10 year old dog has had arthritis for a while now plasma, joint supplements, real food, and an occasional baby aspirin have reduced inflammation and maintained mobility (with a limp) but these things won't repair joints.
His walks have recently gone from 1 mile down to a half mile before he tells me he wants to turn back.
The dog is a golden retriever, about 80lbs. Any info on effectiveness, dosage, administration etc. Would be helpful. Any other suggestions would also be welcomed.
Personal use info from you human dogs could be helpful as well.

I've used it on my dogs before as well as low doses of deca. Def seen improvements.
Do you recall the doseage? (per pound of dog)
For deca, I've done small doses. 50mg for a 120lbs dog. Doesn't take much.
For BPC, I ran 100mcg 2-3x a day.
It's funny, when it comes to using this myself, I'm terrible at keeping up with it. when it comes to treating an animal, I have it down like clock work.
Low dose of deca subq by weight. Might lube the joints up a bit.

Have you tried the glucosamine and chondroitin? Possibly also fish oil?
I feed him raw salmon, chicken and beef with a variety of veggies. Some of which I mix with my homemade freeze dried dogfood. As well as turkey tail mushrooms I forage myself.
I never saw any changes with those glucosamine and chondroitin supplements but I have with the winpro hip and joint product that contains pig plasma which worked exactly as advertised. As well as Collagen Type II which has a lot of science backing it.

Dogs aging is such a painful thing to deal with, my 13 year old has diabetes and he wears a dexcom. Have to inject him with sl*n when he eats and keep an eye on it all day. I wish I had something more useful to add, but would like to acknowledge the emotional impact it has :( dogs are truly Gods gift to the world and I hope he improves asap
Yeah definitely. I had a German shepherd a little bit ago that had pancreatic insufficiency so we had to buy him enzymes to mix with his food. His last year they stopped working for him so he just basically withered away. Tried more enzymes, different brands. I even thought about crushing up dbols to give him to try and get his weight back some. I didn't, but it was a desperate thought. Dogs really are on another level.
How did you find out initially that he is diabetic mate? Did it show in a blood test?
I've had great luck with pentosan polysulfate on my horses but it is approved for use in dogs as well. Seems to really help stiff arthritic horses move around better with less pain. I get it thru my vet, 50ml vial at 250mg/ml for $275. Dose for a dog is like 1 ml a week but double check that. I've found it for sale on Indian websites but I have no idea how legit it is. In the studies on people it was found to actually help improve the cartilage, reduce inflammation and pain. Never thought about using BPC but if my dog was in bad shape I'd definitely consider it.

I have found that these two peptides do help with minimizing scar tissue but do not reduce inflammation or the related pain.
I can only sympathize with your frustration and suggest ways to deal with your best friends end stage of life.
Injectable betamethasone is your best option. I reviewed this substance many years back. I used it on my lab, and we enjoyed 4 more active years. It is over the counter at Walmart in Mexico.
Prednisone and stronger prednisolone put in the food is also an option but the results are much shorter and the rebound greater.
Sounds like you are a good man as some people just shoot their animals rather than care for them.

Inflammation and pain I'm controlling. It's the degradation of collagen in the joint I'm trying to suspend or even reverse. These peptides synergisticly reduce inflammation and promote the production of collagen in animal studies.
So say the lab tests...

I understand as we don't want to watch our dogs suffering. You are smart to ask people about what works as people can talk and have been down this path. Seeing my dog wag his tale and ask to go play after the first injection was better than believing any lab test. More people should chime in as my Vet only suggested putting him down.
You should research pig plasma. Ranchers have been using it for decades and there's a mountain of research behind it. My dog is eager to walk. Between the diet and supplements I've mentioned the pain/inflammation is not the biggest issue. It's stumbling and showing signs that the cartilage might be failing more.
I'm not discounting what you are saying. What I'm looking for is a broader, more comprehensive support that would increase the odds of more years of mobility.
Did this with my dog. She was 15yr old. Prob a bit late to start but felt like it helped her a bit.
2nd this also put my dog on 10mg test e every 2 weeks he's 13 years old had his whole sack removed due to a tumor on his testicles has worked wonders for him.

Absolutely he was miserable after 4 years after his surgery no drive, didn't wanna go outside ate to much but him on 10mg test he's like him old self again sniffs pee on walks marks his territory and lives his walks again. He's a pretty big pit. If you look hard enough vets do it.
My mum had a16 year old cat that started to lose its hair, like hair in the air everywhere. Vet gave the cat a hormone shot, and not only did she grow back all her hair and lost weight, but she also went into heat, yeah, she was spade!! Every tomcat for mile camped out in the backyard for six months.
I've seen a member inject his dog with Deca mate for joints - it worked well apparently too. In theory it does actually increase collagen production/turnover too.
If my memory serves me well, I think it was @Gh0st who did this. Could be wrong though ....

It won't cure it, but Vitamin E helps relieve arthritis in dogs and other animals.
