Aromasin side effect: itching
ad
Has anyone else gotten itching as a side effect of Aromasin? I'm taking 6.25 mg/day and I'm going nuts from scratching my head because of the itching. Also, my skin feels like it's crawling.
Anyone else feel this? If so, what did you find as a good solution?
Thanks.

now that i think about it my skin is a little more itchy than usual from 6.25mgs a day too, i just didnt put the 2 together till now. the biggest issue ive had tho with this dosage is restless sleep. it got pretty bad and i wasnt really sleepng for shit, only a solid 3 or 4 hrs before i woke up and then really shallow crappy sleep after that. i dropped it to eod, but even still the days i take it i sleep like shit that night. anyone else experience this and have any suggestions on what to do?
PaladinYeah, my sleep quality turned to shit also when I have been dosing at 6.25 mg ed. I've been taking it first thing in the morning. I slept better last night since I didn't take it yesterday morning. I'm gonna hold off a bit longer before taking it again. Clearly, this shit is strong.
When do you take it?
first thing in the morning with food
Try dosing at night before you go to bed.
couldnt hurt to try, i'll give it a shot. i'll also probably drop the dose even further, take more like 3mgs a day. i dont have sore achy joints which seems to be the most obvious sign of low estro i read about ppl havng, but i do get fatigued easily and feel lazy, sometimes even the slightest bit depressed.
Get bloods and that will definitively tell you what you're experiencing and en adjust accordingly. Without bloods you're just guessing.
SpyVConsider using a mild antihistamine to surpress the itch if you are itching yourself out of quality sleep or to the point of damaging skin.
PaladinSpyV, thank you. That was the first thing I thought about doing but even after using Claritin and Zyrtec, they had no effect on the itching. I can't use diphenhydramine (Benedryl) because it makes me sick. Let me know if you know of any other that might work. Thanks.
PaladinThanks guys. I was thinking that it was somehow related to estrogen levels considering a similar thing happened to me when I was taking Anastrazole everyday as well. I guess I need to go to eod for now.
TropicanaJuiceYes feel it when my estrogen is too low, keep an eye on other low estrogen symptons you might be taking too much
This is probably because of the estrogen supression. As a result of high estrogen the skin gets "oily". Now that the estrogen is lowered it could be like drying out and irritate the skin.
X2. I experienced the exact same thing.
