TRT prescribed with Post therapy

ad

First post guys so bear with me. I just began a TRT protocol last week. (I am 35 with my total test was 264). I was given a prescription for 20 weeks of Test Cyp, 200 mg per week, HCG 500 2x per week, arimidex 1.2 mg day 1 and 2 after test shot. I was also given PCT of HCG and clomid. Is that standard with TRT? I always thought there was no PCT on TRT. Will I begin again the test after the PCT? Just curious if anyone has had experience like this with their doc/medical group. Thanks for the input guys.

Thanks for all the responses guys. Well I am definitely done with kids so I may have to consider the HCG. As for the AI, I guess it makes sense to watch first before I start using it. However, I do hold a ton of water and with my luck, I will probably start growing boobs this week!

Whoa, hold up bro, definitely don't want you growing boobies... (You could have a lot of fun alone though, right) If you feel you're holding water, continue that AI use, 25mgs EOD. Drink AT LEAST 1 gallon of water per day and get your sodium intake down...... are your ankles swollen??? Or do you just feel bloated??? Could be elevated estro.... When dr did bloodwork, did they give you a copy of the test?

Actually I am feeling good. I was just saying that I have the tendency to hold water. Right now I am drinking about 1.5 gallons a day. Nothing swollen. As for my estrogen level, I was at 54 I believe, maybe that is why they want me on the AI.

Gotcha my brotha.... yeah, your good! Actually one time I tested estro was around 60, I think normal range is 7-42, something like that.... but anyhoo, never felt better..... the elevated estro in my case led to rock hard erections and longer staying power.... Keep us posted.

TRT for me is test cyp @125mgs per week (1 injection every Sun.) Probably ideal to split it up 2X per week, but this works for me. Keeps my T levels around 650-700ng/dl and estro around 30 with no adex usage. Same with HCG, if your done with children and not worried about shrinkage, I'd drop that too. Just comes with increased risks of side effects..... as with an AI, why take it if you don't need it. Stick it out for 6 weeks and go get bloodwork on your own, privatemedlabs and do the hormone panel for females, $60. Adjust your dosages from there and repeat in 6 weeks......seems like a lot I know, but once you get everything dialed in, normal bloodwork, every 6 months or yearly will be fine.... unless you're having issues of course! Good luck!

Good advice T, thanks for sharing your numbers. I assume this is your cruise mode, true? Do you blast too? If so, at what dosage? btw, I just booked my 'Hormone Panel for Females' on the private md lab . I had been wondering which test to take and you answered my question. And I thank you for that bro.

For the rest of the noobs like me. Here is a description and patient prep instructions before the test. :

Awesome budzang... yes the numbers I gave you were cruise mode, and yes again, my usual blasts consist of anywhere from 500-750mgs per week of a long ester test for 12-16 weeks. As you gain experience and learn how your body reacts, there's all kinds of fun stuff you can experiment with.... but for now, lets get you straight and comfortable on this TRT, there's plenty of time for fun later ..... hehe

I'd find a different doc and just do straight TRT

Your doc hooked you up with quite a decent cruising supply. Mine only allowed half your dosage and he makes me pin it all at once in his office. So I was on a roller coaster ride. I have posted a similar question about HCG dosage, because my doc doesn't have a clue about HCG or let alone prescribe it to me. The way I understand HCG, it keeps your nut sack nice and loose and keeps you fertile if you plan on having kids. Long term test cyp injection use makes you infertile. I'm not sure about the clomid. I'm a noob too. Keep asking questions man. We'll figure this out.

Yeah, I was thinking WTF but I'll take it. I just wasn't sure how TRT was supposed to work. Oh well....
