Possible infection?

ad

hey guys my roommate injected some GHRP subQ and the injection spot turned purple. he said that the spot is sore almost like a bruise. is something he should worry about. he said there is no pain unless he presses on that purple spot in his stomach...anyone got some sort of idea??

I get bruises from pinning my belly once in a while since I do it when I wake up. Im sometimes tired and do a half assed shot, but hey, as long as it gets in somehow. I never bruised very badly from it and it usually heals quickly. It is normal for it to be a little sore and even have a little lump. If your roommate is bruise prone, he could have bruising even when he does the shot properly.

Peptides do that I have heard this before
It's a negative if your body looks all bruised up and sore just for peptides

Make sure your useing no larger than
27g 5/8inch at 90-45 degree inject ; by bf %
No smaller than 29/30 g and half inch

I would say keep n eye on it. If it gets heated and the red starts spreading hit up the doc ASAP. Other than that prolly just a vein like broct said.

k thank u guys, i talked to a good friend who is experience w/ this kind of stuff on the phone. he told me that its nothing to worry about, he may have stuck the needle too far into his stomach pinning 90 degrees. thank u and sorry about posting before making sure. just got kinda paranoid. he is like a brother to me

Most likely your friend hit a superficial vein, and a bruise just developed under the skin.

For an infection 24 hours is usually a good scale before symptoms appear fever sweats etc. Tell him to get a thermometer, and monitor his temperature. If the bruise develops spider like tendrils it could be an infection. Most likely though its just a bruise. Just keep an eye on it.
