Athletic Cycle

ad

What do you think would be the best cycle for a rugby player and why? I was thinking test e, eq and something to jumpstart. I am 24 and have done 4 cycles. 6'1 210 about 20% bf

I think if you follow thru with this plan you will see dramatic performance benefits.
Funny you should mention shopping around the perimeter. The day I started college football our s&c coach told me that. I always say its the best nutrition advice I've ever received.

cbrant im going to let you down easy when and say if I was you I would focus on diet for a while first, pm and I will show you some articles on how to properly lean out as an athlete in the kitchen.
the reason I say this is because speed is directly proportional to force and the time of its action, but most importantly for you it is inversely proportional to mass, I saw in your other post that you are a back which as in all sports speed kills.
albuterol and test with a good diet would help to accelerate the process, but again diet is going to be the key here, once you lean out to the 12-15% mark then I would focus on increasing size.
as far as endurance goes muscular strength is also directly related to muscular endurance, i.e. if you bench 100lbs you may be able to bench 75lbs five times. now if you increase your muscular strength to a point where you can bench 200lbs, you will be able to bench 75 lbs well over 10 times. that being said, if you increase muscular strength while keeping your mass constant you will increase speed as well as endurance.
I could ramble all day about this but ill let you soak up this information first.

What are your athletic goals as a rugby player? Being explosive and fast? Or just brute strength with speed being a secondary goal?

Your bf% is to high for AAS you should drop some beofre starting a cycle but for a cardio game like that eq is great, you can ever taken some clen to open up your lungs while burning fat.AND slow down with the cycles, 4 already and you are 24? Take it slow my man.

Not necessarily for his goals. He isn't a bodybuilder. He's using AAS as a PED. An athlete who used AAS as a performance enhancer doesn't need to be concerned with his bf.

Savfile's picture

doesn't need to be as concerned as a bodybuilder but should still be on the lean side if he wants to experience the best results. I know this next comment could come of making me sound like a jerk but its not what I am intending just making a comparison, do you see Adrian Peterson nfl mvp running around at 20% body fat, I would guess he is closer to 5. obviously he is top of the line and a complete freak but I don't think its unreasonable to say a competitive amateur athlete should be in the 12-15 range with his nutrition and training in check before using peds.

I agree. Obviously the lower the body fat, the more conditioned you would be. But you're nit picking. The only point I'm making is his body fat is NOT too high to use AAS for performance enhancement. We can debate what bf percentage is appropriate for this or that all day. The fact remains. If he uses Boldenone and test for example. How performance level will increase. If he diets and drops a few percentage point of bf prior to cycle. Yes he will be much better conditioned to perform. But again, the fact remains

yeah I believe we are on the same page here, using them now would help boost performance, but greater effects could be seen if other factors were in check

With that said , I will agree that it is much better to drop bf with proper diet and more vigorous cardio. After doing so and maintaining that diet and training ,AAS would be most effective.

Haven't you already posted effectively the same thread in the anabolic steroids section?
