pinned bicep, in excruciating pain help!

ad

both bis are swollen like melons, and i'm having a hard time sleeping.

What to do!?

Greg's picture

Certain UGL's cause me the same problem. Other more reputable sources do not cause me issues. I stick to the gluts when that happens...

So out of all the big muscular spots you went for biceps................... hehehehehe
Gotta wait that out buddy.
Do you have access to pain killers (vicodin, percocet, etc)????

kodiakGRRL's picture

you're just going to have to wait it out.. it isn't necessarily unsanitiary technique, it is that site injections tend to swell like this as they are not used to being so cruelly mishandled

The swelling is due to improper pinning protocol. Sounds like your pinning is unsanitary. For it to cause swelling there must be enough bacteria to cause irritation.

On a side note I've never ever had pain in biceps but I would not start with 1 or 1/2ml right away. Try 0.25 first few times

I d have to guess that he started with a cc or two which will cause massive swelling and pain..

kodiakGRRL's picture

LOL.. I was hoping so .. still half a cc that's a lot when hitting them for the first time.. I remember the first time Goth did site injections on his bi's .. owww weeee..lol..

I quite like pinning my delts I hit the middle and rear delts (goth gave me a yucky face for hitting the rear delt though) ... oh wait but I get such bad pip sometimes from the bold ace (can't lift my arm for dayssss) I hit that in my quads

j223's picture

I never get the swelling. Or pip. Honestly a little pain when I hit virgin muscles but nothing bothersome. I must be lucky, or I must just have good sanitary technique. I'm a firm believer that most pip and swelling is due to too much bacteria getting inside from improper pinning procedure. I've had swelling and redness once and that was the time I forgot to wipe the spot with an alcohol swab. But that was a lesson learned for sure. Many people do so many things wrong when pinning and don't realize it.

For example NEVER set a pin down after you take it out of the wrapper. Setting it on a surface exposes it to soo much bacteria. Even nurses and doctors often make this mistake. It's not like its gonna cause an infection, but it will expose your body to more bacteria which might be enough to get an immune system response ie redness, swelling, pain

Well if it isn't infected then it's that vicious virgin muscle pip

Do you have redness and heat coming from the area along with swelling?

Monster666's picture

it was an insulin pin, I used half a cc in each bicep. I have never pinned biceps and yes it was a quarter test prop and a quarter tren ace.

what size pin did you use and how much oil? was the oil something you pinned before? any fever or discharge?
