+ 4 MODS
yesterday we started thinking about possibly bringing in another MOD or 2 for training, we had a guy in mind but after talking to him yesterday and today it aint gonna work. So we would like to find out who is interested in trying to be a MOD. We haven't made the decision to definitely bring anyone in. We are just kicking the tires in the event that we need to consider adding a member or two as the site is growing and membership/activity is up. Looks like a labor of love and making people eat their broccoli. Props for the dedication to the work whoever does this.
I think it'd be cool to contribute back to the community, and considering how many hours a day I'm on eroids it might be a good fit, but I still feel kinda new to the AAS world relative to some on here. I like the idea of it, but I'm not sure what to put on my resume.... I'm good at excel, fairly literate, and I like eroids.

Dam sounds like a tough job, i have tons of respect for you mods.
What skills will you be needing for qualification? And how many hours a week are required?
without giving away to much if possible can u give us a run down of job duties?
can they have a job in the non eroids world?
how do u guys split up shifts?
I have always wondered this I know its probably secretive but if their is info that is available please share with us the entails of a mod
there is no shifts, you are on when your on, clearly the more your able to be on the better but it is not a requirement that you have to be on all the time. The main thing about being a MOD is being able to deal with everybody on the site, that means noobs, vets, sources, and other MODS even when you dont agree or maybe even dont like them. The other thing is that your decision making needs to be geared toward the betterment of the site, sometimes youll have to do things that you dont want to do, and that may entail checking/banning your friends if they get out of line or your favorite source that has hooked you up several times. As a MOD it is imperative that what goes on in the MOD world stays in the MOD world, which means that you have to bite your tongue ALOT. it means that even though you know some things and would like to tell others most of the time you cant. it means that on occasions sources may ask if you want to try free gear, it means alot of people will think your some guru and ask you all kinds of questions. and it means that other MODS will guide you and BFG will smash you if you get out of line.
Sounds like a lot of dedication go's in to being a MOD and I respect what you guys do thats why I put my name in the hat. Good luck to who ever gets to join you guys
