I use Mrs. Dash and reduced sugar ketchup: works like a charm and is fast and simple.
I have the same problem with Frank's Red Hot Sauce! I put that S*** on everything! Especially baked chicken breast. Its nice cause its 0 cals etc but 200mg of sodium per teaspoon :\
chilli powder and pepper also could makes food hot, with lemon juice makes the food more healthier
I've never put peanut butter on chicken, but I've been to vietnamese places where they use peanut sauce on everything, and it's delicious. Haven't tried this recipe, just found it, but it sounds amazing. I'd use olive oil instead of vegetable.
Ingredients
Marinade:
1 cup plain yogurt
1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips
20 wooden skewers, soaked in water 30 minutes
Vegetable oil, for grilling
Butter lettuce leaves
Fresh cilantro leaves
Peanut sauce, recipe follows
Directions
Combine the yogurt, ginger, garlic, and curry powder in a shallow mixing bowl, stir to combine. Place the chicken strips in the yogurt marinade and gently toss until well coated. Cover and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at up to 2 hours.
Thread the chicken pieces onto the soaked skewers working the skewer in and out of the meat, down the middle of the piece, so that it stays in place during grilling. Place a grill pan over medium heat and brush it with oil to prevent the meat from sticking. Grill the chicken satays for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, until nicely seared and cooked through. Serve the satays on a platter lined with lettuce leaves and cilantro; accompanied by a small bowl of peanut sauce on the side.
Peanut Sauce:
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 teaspoons red chili paste, such as sambal
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
2 limes, juiced
1/2 cup hot water
1/4 cup chopped peanuts, for garnish
Combine the peanut butter, soy sauce, red chili paste, brown sugar, and lime juice in a food processor or blender. Puree to combine. While the motor is running, drizzle in the hot water to thin out the sauce, you may not need all of it. Pour the sauce into a nice serving bowl and garnish with the chopped peanuts. Serve with chicken satay.
Yield: 3 cups
man get off the sauce! lol
hot sauce will make other spices much blander and desensitize some of your tastebuds. If youre a hotsauce addict you might wanna start making your own and just put less/no sodium in it. look up some recipes, and look up all the different kinds of chilli peppers you like or might wanna use, go to the grocery store, and then get cookin'!
F*ck all this noise, all u need is peanut butter on your chicken.. tried it at a Chinese buffet, hooked for life
Dijon Chicken Breast a la Lemon
Fat: 2.3 g
Cal: 170
This recipe serves 6,
really love the taste of tender low fat chicken breast in this recipe, as the lemon flavours the bread crums coating, and the dijon adds a bit of a kick to your palatte.
ngredients:
2 tsps of grated lemon rind
1/2 cup of dry breadcrumbs
3 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp Dijon Mustard (whole)
1 Tbsp of lime juice
6 skinless chicken breast
Cannola oil spray (or your favourite nonstick, low fat, low cholesterol spray oil) ;-)
This is what you do
Mix well the breadcrums and lemon rind.
Now mix together the lemon juice, lime juice, and mustard, and brush it on the chicken (both sides).
Then roll the chicken breast on the prepared breadcrums.
Spray a baking tray with the oil spray and place the coated chicken breast in it. Top with whatever's left of the breadcrums mix.
Place the tray in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes at 190 C (375 F). Take the tray out and turn the chicken breast over and bake again for another 15 minutes.
Serve immediately with a cup of steamed rice, and a spoon of sweet chilli sauce per serving. Add a nice low fat salad, and you'll have a great low fat chicken dinner

Got something new for ya... Natural horsradish. Not the shit mixed w/ mayo, it's all natural ground up like minced garlic is. This shit will clear the sinuses. I got a jar and it's pretty good on just about everything. It definitely adds flavor and spice. I got the hot kind, and it's real good on chicken, roast, and especially pork loin. Hope you can find it, you'll like it if you're a hot sauce guy. It is different than hot sauce in flavor for sure, but the heat is right there bro.
Lemon Juice, Cayenne pepper, olive oil and lots of dill. It's a gift from the chicken gods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sirachi for fucking sure.
Sirachi, hell yes!
Also, A little olive oil, vinegar and lime juice in the pain just as the chicken finishesis pretty good. I pepper and garlic the chicken before I cook it.
Gotta agree on the Siracha Hot Sauce. Couldn't live without it. They also make a Garlic Chili Paste which is even better. I buy it by the TUB.
+1
Follow sgt's recipe for creating the sauce and stop there. It'll make an awesome green jalapeño sauce using only garlic, peppers, lime, and cilantro.

I have to second Sriracha hot chili sauce... it has a great flavor and a bit of a kick. I put it on everything but ice cream! way better than Tabasco. imho
It'll take a while to ferment depending on recipe you choose, but make ur own hot sauce. Omit the salt.
I make my own salsas onions, Roma tomatoes, garlic, cilantro & jalapeños, cummin for spice, no salt. It's not bad but I'm sure there's better
I make the same thing but throw some lime juice in there. Some times I chop an avocado and throw it in too.
I think alot of body builders use Tabasco because low sodium its very vinegary though ...
I bake everything in beer on low for hours
I also use cayenne pepper love that shit
