+ 1 Bloodwork from Private MD Labs: Hormone Panel for Females
As a noob wasn't sure what bloodwork to get and where to get it discretely.
Thanks to some vets/eRoiders I have found: [PM Vascular for website] and had the "Hormone Panel for Females" done today. The test description is as follows:
"Description: ***Both MALES and FEMALES order this panel, please be sure to enter the gender that you want reference ranges for when placing your order, as each gender has different reference ranges for these tests. ***
Menopause is the time in a woman's life when menstruation stops permanently. Most women go through menopause between ages 45 and 55. In the US the average age for menstrual periods to stop completely is 51.
This panel will help diagnose the onset of menopause. Significant deviations from the normal range may require further evaluation by your physician.
Includes:
-Estradiol, serum;
-Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH);
-Luteinizing Hormone (LH);
-Testosterone, serum;
-Complete Blood Count (CBC): Hematocrit; hemoglobin; mean corpuscular volume (MCV); mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH); mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC); red cell distribution width (RDW); percentage and absolute differential counts; platelet count; red cell count; white blood cell count; immature granulocytes.
-Comprehensive Metabolic Profile (CMP): A:G ratio; albumin, serum; alkaline phosphatase, serum; ALT (SGPT); AST (SGOT); bilirubin, total; BUN; BUN:creatinine ratio; calcium, serum; carbon dioxide, total; chloride, serum; creatinine, serum; globulin, total; glucose, serum; potassium, serum; protein, total, serum; sodium, serum.
Patient Instructions: Patient should fast for 12 hours preceding collection of specimen. If using a testosterone cream please be sure you have not rubbed any into the antecubital area of your arm for the last 24 hours as it can give elevated results."
The test above covers pretty much everything I've researched in terms of noob bloodwork pre-cycle, on-cycle and post-cycle.
Hope this helps other members. Best part? The test only costs $59.90. If you just spent several hundred dollars on gear, then you can afford to get pre and post cycle bloodwork. I can't speak for the West Coast but this lab covers all of the East Coast and it is discrete.
In the end, I just don't see how you can confirm the following critcial things about your cycle without bloodowork:
1. What are your baseline/normal levels?
2. How effective is the gear you're taking?
3. When you are returned to your normal levels and so when can/should you cycle again?
4. How effective have your AIs and PCT been?
So go do it. No excuses IMO.

Thanks cdaddy7 - cr@p - my bloods are short a couple panels... oh well - better than nothing I suppose.
cdaddy7What are they missing my man?
From what I see on my blood test's desc. I'm missing the Lipids panel.. unless I'm mis-reading something... but I did have a blood test at my family doc practice and my cholesterol was good. So I can cover that panel with another regular checkup. btw good post cdaddy7. The tough thing was finding ONE test that coverd 85%+ of the panels you described... I think my test does that effectively. If I picked indiviudal panels it would cost over $280.00 haha!
cdaddy7Yes as Grrrl said Lipids extremely important bc of the effects of AAS on HDL and LDL to say the least. Your bloodwork is the secret to your succes in knowing where your body is at pre,during, and off cycle. Symptoms are on the outside, but the deeper truth is on the inside, in the blood. Its the truth teller of whether your gear is bunk, if you are healthy and can tolerate AAS usage, how your body tolerates, if they is an issue with your liver...Your liver doesnt have nerves like you hands by the time you feel pain in the liver area something is going on and its not good; same with your kidneys, heart and all your major systems. Labwork very important for diagnosing your health and where your at inside the scheme of things
AnonIt is particularly important to pay attention to lipids while on cycle and coming off. Many compounds can have adverse effects on your lipids.
The thing to consider is that you need a full panel work up to start your baseline. Then you need the lh, estradiol, test free and serum, just before your cycle and then mid cycle and then I suggest just prior to your PCT as well as post PCT those three tests alone through private md are in the range of 200. I know I just did them. If you consider that the need for these tests are not necessary but only twice that is fine. However for absolute empirical data before during and after you need at least 4 tests. These tell you how your body is reacting on cycle and where your body is at after completion of cycle and then there is the PCT which is critical or you spent all that time and money for nothing. I agree with vascular
Thanks cry_havoc!
I have 3 planned in my cycle (its a virgin cycle - Test E only). I think the Female Hormone Panel had a considerable panel and I also have recent bloods from my family doctor.
Can I ask which tests exactly did you get?
I edited the website link bro. Just don't want any advertising but members can PM you for website. Thanks
Oops thanks GS - noted bro.
