tread-mMight add to have your estrogen checked if you are a fatty Mcfatster because if one does have high estro thats working against you as well and is often the case if obese. Nice tips migg laid in some too, I definately like the carb work and think thats where its really ag. I've had good luck with carb work helping others in that way.
I will say this as I often do to the newly found trt guys who come in with weight issues, you have to tackle this from the angle of "cause and effect"?. If you're not understanding the causes then you will yoyo. I had a guy recently say after I spoke with him "oh I don't want to be on a diet". Well then you will be dead soon, diet is what you eat not what jennie craig calls a diet. If you eat cheetos all day, you're on the cheeto diet. So diet is a yr round protocol of nutrients and not a 6 week plan. You simply use the diet that take you and "keeps" you at your goal.
Btw guys/gals, even a small amount of what is considered excess fat can and often will result in poor bloods, type 2 diabetes, high hblood pressure etc and those things are also a predisposition to other disease and to cancers etc. I've seen family members even get lap bands and take insulin and on bp meds etc etc just never seeming to understand if you change the cause the effect cannot survive, it relies on the cause! Have a close family member I've watched depreciate beyond belif with all the issues above and I've talked to him numerous times about t and cause and effect, diet , gym you name it "I just don't seem to have the time" is the response. Well, do you have time to die 25 yrs too early? Frustrates the shit out of me but as the saying goes, you can leed a horse to water but you can't make him drink! So true....thing is, its not that much more difficult or time consuming to eat right over eat wrong its just hard to change those bad habits initially! Good topic here!

Yes! It's all about life style change!!! It really isn't hard to eat clean! The one common denominator with heavier people that I find they all drink a lot of pop like gallons a day like drinking body fat!!!!
tread-mThats a fact and just sedintary, looks for a chair the second they get to where they are going, just finding the easiest way to do everything. I notice even at family gathherings the out of shape are sitting down talking and the in shape and young are standing. Its little indicators you can just see a person looking for the easy way to do everything and lets face it, McDonalds is easier than making chicken on the grill. Of course the more out of shape you get the quicker the process speeds and they end up sick or worse. It honest to God frustrates the hell out of me to watch people I love and care about just go down the crapper but you can't seem to get through. I've had a few even say, "I wish I had your genetics". Brother eating right and going to the gym has nothing to do with genetics. Maybe I have a frame that "might" lend itself to one sport or another but being in shape is not about genetics , its about overcoming the inevitable due to genetics! The gnes will eventually get us all but you can make them earn it!
Well I have another example of heavy people and there laziness!! I just recently went to Disneyland. And you would not believe what I was seein everybody is in a wheelchair now old young everybody so they don't have to wait in line!!! I mean it is getting out of control 20 something's so heavy that they get wheel chairs come on man!!!
tread-mUnfortunately most of the wheelchair spaces are now occupied by the obese. Often not a space left for actual handicapped peopl?e. Get a clue people, maybe you walk a few extra spaces and actually burn 10 cals of fat....its too bad. I make complete exception for those with thyroid conditions and the like but good Good God it can't be this many. Have you noticed in the last 10 yrs how many wheelchair spaces we have? Used to be even a place like wlamart had 6 or 8 and now its half the fing parking lot!
For real fatties I put them on 1800 cal diet eating 6times a day
80gm carbs (am only)
300gm protein
80 oz water
no fruit, sugar, white flower
now this is for weight loss I put kids who need to make weight for football on it it works like a charm

the typical glutton will prioritize a meal choice as follows
taste > practicality to produce > nutrition where taste is the most important factor
you need to reverse that completely and cook meals according to nutritional content, macros and good ratios (me i prefer to keep a 40% protein 40% carb 20% fat most of the time)
taste should be the last thing you think about, although it is nice to eat something that tastes good, you appreciate it more as a one off treat
you cannot get abs unless you become strict
