Got labs done, Low T
ad

Testosterone is low. Talking to my doc about getting on TRT.
Anyone on TRT feel free to drop some input.
Had low libido since I was young (roughly 16 years old), got bloods done at 17 and came back low (slightly above 250), now I just turned 21 and my test came back at 172. So looks like I'm just one of the few unlucky's out there with natty low t.

UFOI agree with cdaddy on his post about marijuana and opiates lowering T since I have read the same studies myself which I believe were done on rats or mice, but I dont know if thats exactly your issue DEPENDING on how young you started. ME PERSONALLY, I started smoking pot when I was 14 and havnt stopped since and Im 25 now. Daily smoker for many years. Also had a bit of an opiate problem in the past. Have cycled for 3 years now. BUT my natural test levels 3 days after PCT were up to 750. So again while im not disagreeing with cdaddys post because I have seen the same research myself, I just wanted to share my own personal experience with drug usage and natty test levels which didnt seem to effect mine at all. If you started smoking at age like 6 thats a different story. But now Im just rambling, all these guys said all you need to hear and you seem to be doing everything possible to get it taken care of professionally. Good luck brother
OrgazmoYour HDL result looks quite low too.
Could you eat more omega 3 with oily fish such as mackerel? Cranberry juice might help too.
Do you drink or smoke? Cutting those out can raise your HDL cholesterol, normal figures should be 60+ ng/dL
AnonI dont smoke or drink, just perhaps on occasion (once a month or so).
Currently popping 5 1000mg fish oil caps a day.
I was on Anavar for 6 weeks at the end of my cycle so I'm thinking thats what tanked my HDL as Anavar is known for such.
Thanks for the reply! I appreciate every bit of it.

AnonThese labs were done like a week after my 4 week long pct (clomid/nolva).
So about 7 weeks after my last injection.
tread-mTruly need to be about 4 weeks beyond pct for accurate bloods. Even then, they are not accurate if you had poor quality pct products. Assumijng they are good and bloods are accurate then we need trt discussion.
AnonAlright man I'll get more labs done here in acouple weeks and re-evaluate.
Thank you for the input!
On a side note, have you any knowledge on Nebido?
The appeal is obvious as its less frequent pinning but how does it stack up compared to test c? Primary concern is with test levels fluctuating. I noticed one supplier on here has it in stock, seems potentially promising.

cdaddy7Let me answer a few questions. The LH and FSH are low and that would be directly related to Test @ 172 and all three confirm that you have LowT. Even though you are finished with PCT, the condition remains so the LH and FSH wouldn't be any higher normally. The reason I say that is we know the PCT was effective because your Estrodiol level is low. The elevated RBC is from the steroids. They tend to increase RBC's. Some more than others. Your BUN is slightly elevated as mine would be because of your high protein diet. If your creatinine level was elevated with the BUN then I would think kidney trouble. So your good. At this point at 21 years old and such a significant drop since you were 21 years old it's definitely a very considerable option not because of your labs. That's the objective evaluation, but it's your subjective evaluation stated:
"Maybe this is worth noting, but I've had a low sex drive since ~16 years old.
No erectile dysfunction or anything, just little to zero desire to have sex (unless on cycle). No testicular atrophy. My chronic low sex drive is in part as to why I ordered alot of tests. Its a concern of mine."
Your stating that means it's stealing your quality of life. You definitely need to consider because your numbers are going to do nothing but go down along with more symptoms which I bet you have some now as we speak. The labs don't lie my friend. I will tell you that Guru Tread-M is the man to talk to on this. Let me see if I can get him in here to share his wisdom and strength on the matter.
AnonThanks man for the informative post. +1.
What would be the ideal LH and FSH for a 21 year old?
I grew up in the home of an addict, my father was a huge pothead and grew in our attic so I was exposed to drugs at an early age. I begin smoking marijuana daily in the 7th grade and didnt stop until roughly the 11th grade. (My sex drive died in the 9th grade, previously was good). Ive read that marijuana use in young kids can potentially have a negative effect on the endocrine system. What do you think about this? Potentially the reason why I have low t?
I'm not very worried about being put on TRT, at this point like you said my quality of life sucks. These labs were done by Kaiser after I went in complaining of no libido. I have a referral to an endocrinologist. I'm looking to do TRT through Kaiser because I have family that works for Kaiser and basically I get everything free (Plus I got dual insurance coverage). And I'm a College student so money is tight, too tight to buy pharma test c @ $90+ a pop at a aging clinic or w/e.
Welp, on the bright side I'm looking forward to getting boners again and I wont have to do PCT, just blast cruise. Just hope I can have kids someday...

LH range is 2-11
You would want to fall into the midrange of each for your age. Those two numbers of 2 for FSH and LH means basically that your testes is not producing enough testosterone causing the LowT. Now for the second question, there is a correlation between LowT and drug use. Marijuana assaults your precious hormones in almost every negative way possible, especially testosterone. One study after another has shown that cannabis lowers testosterone. For example one research team found that "a reanalysis of existing data established that testosterone levels are depressed both after smoking one marijuana cigarette and after intravenous infusion of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, a pharmacologically active component of marijuana". The same study concluded that it would take at least 24 hours for testosterone levels to normalize after marijuana use. Another study found that not only was testosterone decreased after short term marijuana use, but leutenizing and follicle stimulating hormone were lowered as well. And just to add to the endocrinological misery, the arch-villain and stress hormone cortisol was raised as well in this same study. There are also studies in animals and humans that strongly indicate that marijuana blunts growth hormone response as well. Opiates are another big one for users and LowT as well
AnonJust goes to show my doc doesnt know shit about the endocrine system as he reviewed my LH & FSH and was like "Well everything here looks fine, just waiting on your testosterone". I guess we'll never know why my test is so low natty.
Shitty part is this waiting for the endocrinologist to see me and put me on TRT. I want my sex drive back ASAP! I was slaying groupies while on cycle, it was ridiculous... haha now I dont even get morning wood :(
If I want to have kids someday I can run some HCG and that should help fertility right? Idk my sperm count right now, I should know soon when I see the endo.
cdaddy7Yes HCG will help in some cases for male infertility treatment and hypogonadism. You def have hypogonadism but it doesn't mean your infertile. Your sperm count will determine that. Look you got Master Tread here so I'm gonna let him take over
AnonTestosterone,Total,LC/MS/MS 172 L ng/dL 250-1100
Testosterone, Free 26.8 L pg/mL 35.0-155.0
Test is low. At 17 years old I was tested and got 257 on my total so I have low t naturally. But now at 21 it is 172 and I'm debating trt with my doc, anyone got some suggestions?
if he wont give it too you get a new doctor. I have heard of docs prescribing anti depression meds for low T. they need to start teaching this shit to doctors
AnonNo kidding. Doc keeps asking me if Im depressed. Im kinda sitting there like "are you serious? My hormones are wack & my dick is bunk so yeeaaaaahh a little.." they already suggested an SSRI, I refuse to take anti-depressants.
I'm not gonna let some stupid endo tell me I dont need TRT. I'll be an asshole and keep getting other opinions until I finally get it.
i dont see how they even come up with that shit. hmmmm lets see you have very low testosterone how about we give you some prozac?
cdaddy7You need to find you a Urologist or an Internal Med doctor because they are more specialized in treating ppl with TRT issues. Just hang around Guru tread-m will show up and help us with his wisdom.
AnonUpdated my results, still waiting on everything to come in. Should get everything done by today.
RBC came back high.
BUN came back high. (High protein diet causing this?)
~6 weeks since last pin.
UFOdble post
UFOAre you on or off cycle?? Everything looks good, maybe fsh and lh are a tad low but I wouldnt worry at all. G2G
AnonOff cycle. Just wrapped up PCT (Clomid/Nolva/Armoasin)
Cycle was 12 weeks of Test E 500mg.
Last 5 weeks ran Anavar 75mg.
zewiFSH and LH are low. if you coming off a PCT. guess we will see the Test and estro soon make sure you put that up.
AnonMaybe this is worth noting, but I've had a low sex drive since ~16 years old.
No erectile dysfunction or anything, just little to zero desire to have sex (unless on cycle). No testicular atrophy.
My chronic low sex drive is in part as to why I ordered alot of tests. Its a concern of mine.
