-1 Flame test
If you're crazy enough to waste gear you could always do a flame test on them to see if they contain the supposed drugs.
I'm pretty sure oxandrolone burns a redish color, but I'm not entirely positive. I did quite a bit of research on it and I came across something about anavar and a red flame.
Procedure - Dissolve oral steroid in pure methanol (unless supposed flame would be blue then it wouldn't change)
Light on fire.
Observe color. Look up flame colors.
The different steroids should burn different shades of colors as they do gas chromatography in steroid detection and if nothing else would tell you if your source is trying to fake off some cheaper orals for some more expensive ones.
Although I've never tried it and don't actually know if the colors would differ enough to tell.
Just a thought.

zewiYou can do that with farts too. Depending on what you ate, the color of the flame will be different.
chicken i think is a red/orange color
strawberries is a pink color

just bend over and fart while holding a candle, match or lighter and the color will tell you what you just ate.
Supernova283Methane and hydrogen sulfide in your "farts" is what causes the flame. The flame will be blue/yellow-orange depending on concentration of methane to hydrogen sulfide and will not always ignite.

cdaddy7Mass spectrum analysis is the accurate way to evaluate. What about the purity of the substance vs filler content? Y would even consider that to b credible esp since u always run around the forum spatting the very science of things? U mite have book starts but apparently no common sense. There is a big difference in knowledge and wisdom
Supernova283Not everyone has access to mass spectra. This was just an thought. It wasn't meant to test purity it's not meant as an end all solution. Just a simple test and hopefully they're filling their capsules with carbohydrates (such as rice flour) which would just produce smoke. Flame tests are easy ways a lot of chemists test unknown chemicals without access to lab equipment.

Supernova283Dew points for the substances would be almost impossible to standardize without a completely pure solution and unstable conditions of pressure and temperature.
Besides the flame test would have a more practical application at identifying the different steroids, not determining purity.
