First Cycle (yes, yet another) - have I done this right?

First off, Im 36 years old ,weight says 90kg (thats about 200lbs) with a bf at roughly 13-15%. Trained for 5-6 years on/off, the last 2½ year seriously , 5 times /wk, never missed a training day.

I'm eating everything I can get my hands on (within reason of course with focus on low fat high protein foods), have my 6 meals and supplements in order and get around 200-250g protein /day

My goal is (as the majoroity of us here) to build as much mass as possible. I am not concerned about gaining fat on cycle - I'll drop it later.

Im currently planning my entry in the AAS world and in the progress of stocking up for the first 2-3 cycles.(PCT items first, then oils, then pins as some Yoda-like guy made a sticky about Smile - hoping to make an order with ARL this week.

First off i'm planning to run the standard beginners test e only cycle like this:

1-12 500 mg TestE ew (split 2x/wk)
1-12 0,25-0,5 mg Arimidex eod (to avoid gyno and keep bloat at a minimum)
3-12 250iu HCG 2 x Week on test days

+2 weeks
Pct:

Nolva 40/40/20/20
Clomid: 50/50/50/50

I also have Letro on hand if necessary.

Second cycle will be the same (or at 750mg) with the addition of Dbol wk 1-4.

My questions remains:

  • Is this layout OK? - I'm trying to avoid shrinking by running HCG as MCT
  • Is the length of PCT spot on, or do I need to adjust it?
  • Is there any up/downsides to being "older" as I am in regards to building muscle on cycle (or PCT wise)?

Tread and Vike map the way. Should change my profile. I now weigh 235 and my bodyfat is lower. Read everything these guys put down. Can't believe the difference following there advice on diet and estrogen control has made.

Excellant result bro, just proves the point that pumping gallons of oil in without proper nutrition and planned diet is not the way forwards... i just wish folks would grasp this instead of relying on mega stacks then complaining the gear is bunk etc...

The other variable is I had a solid foundation. 30 years powerlifting and good solid training knowledge. Squats, deadlifts, benchpress, bentover rows was the exercises. When I was young I got great advice how to train. The people that never get anywhere are the ones with the fancy double split routines. Over training without proper rest. Eating clean until the thought of another chicken breast or boiled egg wants to make you puke, then eat it anyway is what it's all about. Especially post cycle. Treadmill for blood pressure was a big help. When I got the estrogen under control the gains came fast and were more noticeable when the bloat decreased. Your tip about green tea water, pure gold, powerliftgirl loves that one. Thanks again Vike, your generous knowledge has made all the difference!

Brother! if you dont mind i am using you as an example in my PM schooling area... the gains from the most basic 12 week test C cycle must be hammered home to most guys who think the magic starts from 3 compound stacking!hope you dont mind me making you into a rockstar lmao!

I would be glad to help any way I can. Now that I know what the test does I can move forward. Baby steps is the only way. These are powerful drugs we are messing with that are capable of great harm. I don't understand why anyone would put there health at risk. We do this to benefit and augment our health!

Regarding the fat - I actually didn't think of the increased estrogen buildup. Point taken and i'll be more strict in this matter..(Not that I'm eating a lot of dirty calories at in my current diet - but will be more focused on avoiding them though)

Why not HCG 2 x week at 250iu?

  • Layout is Aromasin and Nolva for PCT, and Adex on cycle... please let me know why this is off?

So PCT should only be Clomid/Nolva?

Aromasin is an aromitase inhibitor which will control test from becoming estro. Clomid is a serm which will help kickstart the bodys natural test production. Aromasin can be used in pct but it is not a replacement for a serm. Nolva will also kickstart but is there also for gyno protection.

Just found out that I mixed up the Clomid/Nolva articles i've read (I edited that part out again - sorry).

No problem. We're glad to help. I would advise spending the same amount of time researching diet as you have cycles. Im speaking from experience qhen i say nutrition will make your cycle. I spent a year chasing my tail wondering why i wasnt growin until i started eating right. Follow the threads of Viking and Tread and absord the kitchen knowledge. I did and was like a slap to the back of the head. Cant thank them enough

I know about the diet, and I am continously expanding my knowledge in this area.

  • Regarding the protein intake, that is what I am currently consuming off-cycle. - i probably shuld have mentioned that I would up the intake on-cycle.

Hcg twice week yes. The wording every third day sent my ocd nutty. Oops.

Other sites like the aromasin/nolva pct. Thats your call. Here folks run the nolva clomid.

Hcg can be run til 4days prior to pct if ai follows.

Im kinda new too but ill give it a shot. The cycle looks fine but you will want to add clomid also for pct at least 50mg/day. Now the diet will make the difference in your success to add mass. Get your macro nutrients right 40%protein/40%carbs/20%fats. At your weight 200-250 grams pf protein is not enough. Shoot for around 2-2.5 grams per pound of bodyweight. Get the kitchen right and enjoy you cycle.

Good advice on protein intake! Clomid has a sliding scale over a four week plan. Definitly like the protein advice!

More research error. Your pct should be clomid nolva. Research. Your ai on cycle is odd...why aromasin and adex?
