Oilfield worker

ad

Hi to all. First post on this site. I've lifted for years usually using a 5 day split and mix it up from time to time with some dif routines. About 7 months ago I took a job in the oilfield and worked a schedule of 2 weeks on and one week off. Needless to say my gym
time went to shit with all the travel. Last week I went to an 8 day on 4 day off schedule and hope this may give some more time in the gym. Just wanted to see if any other folks work in this field and how they have coped with it. I've only cycled once using test cyp 500mg a week and loved it! Hope to be on cycle again in the near future. Appreciate any responses.

I'm in the oilfields out here in nd. The first thing I went out and bought was a steel 48" pipe wrench. I carry that fucker everywhere. When I'm building batteries I tote the 4 in steel vent lines by myself. And press 4 in pipe over head all day. Hit the pull up pushup super set and prison routine a lot too. Just gotta make do. I go to fucking playgrounds and tie 4 in valves around my waist and do pull ups on the monkey bars. Whatever I can do to get it. Just gotta get it

Thats it bro you got it. Some Guy's get used to seeing and they tend to respect you more on the job. Most of the guys i work with have no clue I cruise on gear. In order to keep up with the young bucks! The Guy's will slip out a dam dude you need to lay off the roids(they have no clue though). Its like a all day gym. Only our kind will ever understand!

People try help me and I say fuck you get out of my way. You also don't have deal with the bullshit of people trying you when you grab a 200 pound pipe and throw it on your shoulder ond carry around a 70 pound wrench like its a toy. What kind of work do you do?

BA in engineering. Sitting behind a desk sucks ass, so I refuse to. I like the field work the most its funny when the guys are like why dont just sit in the office. Im like would I want to ruin myself and lose the knowledge i earn in the field and stay fit all at the same time. Its funny when I have to redo another's engineering mistake because other dumb ass never sat foot in the field of our trade. One day when I am finally wore out and no longer climb lift and just physically do my job, I might settle down in an office. But for now I earn more yearly then any engineers I know of and I love fixing shit.

I incorporate 12-16 hr days of work as part of my workout. Just start grabbing bigger wrenches, squating whatever's around. Pulling on 3" 4" wrenches with one hand. Torque wrenches pulling 1000lbs. I am assuming our trades are not to far apart in the manner of heavy "shit" everywhere. I started a cycle of test e and deca At the beggening of a long 4 month 12hr 7d a week night shift. Aside from a little home gym lifting. I built most of my bulk on the job eating working little lifting. I bulked 20pds and gained alot of strength. Once you start you will see a huge difference in about 4 weeks you will feel as strong as an OX wanting to lift any and everything in site. All the guys on my crew noticed the difference in me.

Thanks Perses. I do look for gyms and get week memberships when out of town. Probably will up the dosage by 100 a week. Had great results last time and can't wait for the next.
