Training Off Cycle Sucks.

Hi All.

As some already know, last week I finished off my first cycle after returning to working out after nearly 15 years abstinence.

After making some REALLY good gains, I inadvertently injured both of my quads by simply pushing things too far, too fast and thinking I could still repair as quickly as I USED to when I was younger.

But the one thing that has hit me like a 4x2 lump of the finest oak available is how much it sucks to return to the gym, off cycle.

I knew it was coming. I knew it was going to test me. And I knew it was going to be hard to get the same, "I'm Invincible', feelings one gets when working out on the juice, even when using USPlabs' Jack3d Pre-Workout to help move things along, because I've been there, done it and got the t-shirt as a souvenir too.

But DAMN!!! In mt 15 years of being out of the gym, I'd certainly forgotten just how hard it is to get my lazy ar*e out of bed and back into the gym every morning, the first couple of weeks after coming off cycle. No wonder so many guys/Ladies slip into the, 'Downs', and get depressed within those first few weeks too.

Because of the EQ I took within my cycle I have been able to maintain a good appetite and the regular need to supply myself with good quality calories from my food intake to help me maintain the gains in weight I made instead of losing everything by not wanting to eat, and yes, I know the poundage's on the bars/dumbbells are undoubtedly going to drop off slightly over the next few weeks too, I have no doubt. But this 44 year old frame I now have sucks at repairing itself after a workout.

One side of working out I'd CERTAINLY forgot about.

The next 2 months can't come quick enough for the beginning of my next cycle.

My first cycle consisted of 750mg a week of Test E, 100mg E.O.D of Test P and 400mg of EQ a week to help with the appetite. Any suggestions on the next cycle would be very much appreciated.

I dont know what would be the perfect time to go, maybe some of the TRT vets could chime in here but im gonna guess that 10 days after PCT is done go get a blood test done and check your test levels. After my first cycle I was fucking done, on the couch couldnt get up, no sex drive nothing! month and a half later went down got blood work done and test levels where way low, got put on TRT. Sounds like your test levels might be down in the lows, which is pretty normal right at first but you should recover fairly quickly.

I will be getting my test levels checked in two weeks, Mate.

At the moment, I still have some Test E running through the system, even if it is at a low, coming off cycle level. So if I got my test done know it MAY not give me a true reading to go by.

Bro ur right, training off cycle is the pits. I literally get angry as shit at how unmotivated and weak I am that's how I get myself hype to bust out that extra rep. I get mad and just punish myself. The only thing is when I leave the gym I don't feel as good for some reason, like I didn't get a good workout but I feel tired and shitty. I started my cycle early...I know, that's not good. But I got my nuts back and I figured if I run a short 8 week prop/dbol cycle it couldn't hurt that badly. The MOST important thing is to remember its a lifestyle...not a race. I typically get my motivation from my transformation ON cycle and get caught up in it...when really I just need to relax and enjoy the benefits of science but really the important thing is the benefits of healthy lifestyle practices...anyway ..I feel u homey. Just don't stop, keep it movin baby

I have to agree with you on the dropping the BF.

One week after your cycle your Test should still be up there quite a bit. It sounds like this is a psychological thing? Try switching up your routine to match your lowered test levels. Increase the reps and lower the weight, you'll get a huge pump that will replace the pump you got from heavy weights. What are you doing for PCT next week? And at 44 have you had your normal test levels taken. You may be a TRT candidate and join the Blast Cruise club. In the last 6 weeks since the EBC contest I have only dropped a lil size and strength (Prop at 50mg/eod, needed to be down for my TRT Bloods) but have added a lil fat back too. I know what you mean with the recovery, but I think my nutritional intake is part to blame there also. Lets just say my nutritional intake went on Cruise mode also! LOL ;-P

I totally agree with you, that it's a psychological issue as well as a physical one. Being on a cycle ALWAYS makes me feel that I'm growing by just looking at a dumbbell. And with the amount of Test I was on I'd expect it to at least start dropping off now and that's probably another reason why I'm feeling so lethargic lately too.

PCT started this past Wednesday with 40mgs a day of Tamoxifen for the estrogen issues and Nolvadex to help with the test levels.

Oh definitely dropping off, but depending on your cycle level you could still be at the high level of normal for 2-3 weeks. Bro, Nolvadex is Tamoxifen Citrate. Your double dosing the same thing.

I just placed an order for Clomid not 15 minutes ago, Mate.

I dropped the ball on that, but I've remedied it now.

Haha brother I hear yah.The old eca stack might help your motivation.Ephedrine caffeine and asprin.Or there are a lot of products out there now that are based on the eca stack.End of last cycle I used Roxilean.First couple days I felt like I was on crack.LOL.Being not as young and motivated as I used to be I've found this really helps when coming off cycle for me.Back when I used to compete I used eca to lose weight or lean out before competition.I bought the roxilean off of ebay for 24 bucks and free shipping.For that price it's worth a try.

Hey bro...Roxylean ain't no joke though, it'll KILL your appetite, and your appetite might already take a swing for the shit during and after PCT. You might wanna check out some other metabolic avenues, such as t3...or 'natural' supplement products with t2, which is: 3,3 Diiodo L Thyronine and 3,5 Diiodo L Thyronine. You can find these supps in and around the similar realm of thermogenics and energy products just like Roxylean, and they won't crush your appetite as much. When I took stuff with the Diiodo in it, it actually made me hungrier. Also, look into bromelain enzyme caplets, it aids in the digestion of protein, but it can stimulate your appetite all around too if you start struggling with that.

I've just got done with researching RoxyLean and from what I've discovered it sounds like Clen in it's fat burning advantages.

I'm sure Super was just recommending it for the extra BOOST effect it obviously has too.

I've heard of bromelain enzyme being a MAJOR help with anyone on a a high Protein intake, but I've never tried it myself, Thanks for that.
