Anastrozole Question
Ok, so when I first started using testosterone everything was through a doctor. He prescribed me testosterone c at 200mg a week. Also when I had my blood work done my estrogen was a little high, around 60. compared to my testosterone, basically non existent at 100, my doc wanted to up my testosterone and lower the estrodial. eventually I got my testosterone up to around 500, thats where he felt comfortable.
My question is, he also prescribed me anastrozole at 1mg. He ordered me to take 3 tablets a week. So 3mg total. My estrogen went down to around 19. He then told me to take around 2mg a week. after doing blood test again my estrogen was nearly the same. So I went to 1 mg a week, just 1 tablet.
Butttt, everywhere on this forum, people say that .25mg every other day, or every 3 days is good enough. I took, compared to what people on here are saying, a muchhhh larger dose. But it worked.
So is it SAFE? I mean I know just because a doctor prescribed it doesnt mean its right. But is there a difference in taking .75mg or 1mg per week split up, vs 1 mg say one time per week?
Confused when it comes to Anastrozole, so any advice is appreciated.
Also I'm 25
BF 12%
Currently not doing any testosterone after about 6 months on low dose I stopped but my levels did rise to around 600 natural.
Also, I will be starting my second cycle in about 4 weeks 600mg Test E per week and 50mg Anavar per day. I was going to take 1mg Anastrozole a week, because I am gyno prone. Then of course PCT with hcg, Nolva and Clomid.

I think the less AI's the better, but that's my philosophy. I suffer from some moderate joint issues, so that's how I tell my est is too low...everything just starts hurting WAY too much. When I first took some adex, I was on a dbol kicker and let the water build-up to the point that it was freakin' unbearable and then basically frontloaded a 1mg capsule and then took another three days later...tapered it down to .25mg e2d till my orals were over and now I am just riding the test out without an AI. We are all different though, esp. if you know you are prone like that...I know I would be scared to death to grow some bitchtits. If your doc is on board like that, well, that's the shit...and like dude said, follow his lead. However, I think the best thing to do though is to find the most minimum effective dose possible...and you will have to figure that out for yourself by 'listening' to your body on-cycle. That's my two cents.
Thanks man. Yea My Doc is cool, only to a certain limit LOL but yea ill just use the smallest but effective dose. Got my scale shipping now lol
Everyone else is doing double the test you are. Your doc has ran the tests to get dose dialed in right. Sounds like you have a good doctor
dbolzYour doc did the right thing since your e2 was high, taking 0.25mg eod vs 1mg per week will keep more stable estrogen levels during the week. Will probably have the same end result. People suggest low doses of adex cause when you go any higher than 0.25mg eod it affects your lipid profile. When you were taking 3mg per week your ldl would have been much higher than normal and your hdl lower than normal and thats not healthy when you run it longterm. For your future cycle 0.25mg is good for the first few weeks (week 2-5) but since you say you are gyno prone you will probably need 0.50mg eod from week 5-6 till the end of your cycle. Stick too as low dosages as you can eod/ed rather than a big dose once a week for the above reasons.
Thanks that really cleared it up. Now I just have to figure out the best way to split up these 1mg Anastrozole caps I have LOL
dbolz0.001g scales from ebay, they cost 20$, best 20 you will ever spent. Get some size 2 caps as well for the recapping
Hell yeah bro...I just did the same thing, although I found the goods on amazon.
dbolzMake sure you warm them up before you put any powders on, turn on for 30sec then turn off and turn on again and stick the powder. If you dont warm them they give innacurate readings.
Hey thanks man, I sent you a FR I have a few questions for you.
