+ 2 Anavar question
ad
I do crossfit as part of my training. I have read that if u do high intensity, high impact workouts, anavar can actually slow u down because of excessive pumps....opinions?

zewiYes.. but its about finding the right dose, to were the pumps don't cripple you.. Some its 50mg some 35mg some 25mg.. So you have to find what works.
I have got to be honest. Var just isn't for me. I just can't work out with the same intensity when i have crippling back pump. It really gets me. Its a shame because it's a lovely compound when used correctly.
AnonI guess what I'm hearing is that after your pumping out reps on particular exercise there's an extreme pain or soreness that follows. My conclusion is that what I'm experiencing has nothing to do with the pump pains.
I seem to cramp easier and feel sore for days after intense cardio too.
I'm on var right now. Lifts are all up and reps. When it comes to high intensity cardio I'm totally sucking wind. I like to do the cybex strider for half an hour at high resistance post lifting. I usually sweat so much that there is a puddle on the floor when I'm done. The amount of resistance I can sustain has gone down. I'm lucky if I'm able to complete the half hour even at lower resistance.
lol slow you down from pumps??? I am so confused right now.....the pumps from var or other certain orals always made me feel amazing and wayyy more energized.
AnonI quess my question is can you describe what the (pump) feels like and is it lower back or lower rib cage area.
back pumps on anavar are caused by inflammation of the kidneys. the glomerulus, proximal convoluted tubule, and distal convoluted tubule of nephrons act as semi-permeable membranes. some substances pass and others do not. when on oral steroids the glomerulus, PCT, and DCT can bloat holding more ions and water.
taurine can cause retention of magnesium and potassium, and excretion of excessive amounts of Na+ of cells. i believe that taurine supplementation benefits the steroid user because it causes Na+ to leave the cells of the glomerulus, PCT, and DCT. water follows by osmosis decreasing inflammation.
AnonThat's good stuff
AnonClarify PUMPS???
EDIT
yeah you can also get such a good swell in your muscles that it hurts too.
It all depends, if you get a good pump its great, but back pumps are a nightmare. If you take a high amount of taurine and increase your water intake you shouldn't get them all that bad. If you end up with one though it can be an absolute killer. I've had to lie down in the gym before until it went away
AnonWhen you say pumps are you referring to cramping, tightening of muscles. Reason I ask is the other morning at about 3 am I got some serious muscle like spasms in my lower rib cage both front and back. It felt as though my ribs were being compressed and I could barely walk. GF took me to ER and was given a shot and some valium. Had me in bed for a day. Taking muscles relaxers now. Not taking any var but man that s--t hurt like hell.
when talking about anavar (and other oral steroids), back pumps are caused by kidney inflammation most of the time.
i think that crofit is very good for pre-work{before weights 20min warm up} or if you have knee problems.
I ran Pro-Chem 50mg/day for couple months and never had pumps that were any worse then normal.. I was working out hard to and doing cardio. I think people exaggerate allitle bit because they repeat everything they hear. Pro-Chem is a Reputable company.
I ran pro chem var this summer and it was totally shit. Way under dosed and very little gains even at 100mg/day.
is var realy that bad i will be taking 40-50 mg per day and from the guys i have talked to they say when they are doing weights the pumps are mental yes but no pain and they love it ? also the profiles i have read on it say the pump is the great thing about it.is it just mad pumps with pain if your hittin a shit load of cardio ? cheers
Back pumps for me = laying in a fetal position until the lower back unlocks. Mine dont last long, maybe 30 minutes to an hour. Ibprofen, gatorade, icy hot, and asian massages
Pumps?
First calve pump i got was on a run with my grrl... 1/2 mile from home ,had no idea what was going on i coulndt move , my legs where hard as rocks, she went home and got the car for me...ehh i hate running anyways whats the rush. lol but yeah have fun with that ..
My suggestion.... Quit doing crossfit. Ohhh!!!!
Only if you let it. Personally a pump has never slowed me down at all before. Youll be stronger and rip through your workouts quicker.
Anonthe pumps will put you on the floor crying..lol.... have fun with that you'll last maybe ten minutes max.. that's if you get the leg pumps and or lower back pumps which 99% of the people say they do ..
tread-mPUMPS THE SHIT OUT OF MY CALVES! Lol, legs in general really and lower back some...
hasn't stopped me
