have you outgrown your gym?
recnetly i moved gyms.. i was going to one of those 24 hour places. you know the ones im talking about.. with the real nice rubber 45lb weights with the little color coated handles to make them easy to carry and identify, you know the place, some of you probably go to one yourself... i moved to a powerlifting gym, and in one day went from being one of the baddest mfers in one place to being slightly above average in another- it was definately a shock... i thought i would put together a fun list to decide if you have outgrown your gym - feel free to add any if i miss some :-)
- if you have to scour the entire facility looking for enough 45 lb weights to be able to leg press your 1000+ pounds.
-
if people have made comments to you like "you are going to break the machines doing that" or "this wasnt designed for that kind of weight"
-
if people have complained about the noises you make while lifting
- people look at you like a freak when you are repping 120 lb barbells because that is the biggest they got, then complianing because you had to "drop" the weight because it felt like your chest was going to explode
- if they play anything by myley cyrus
- people look at you with disgust when you sweat like a pig after putting up more weight than they could ever dream of
and finally- when you are the biggest, baddest muther in that place and everyone hates you for it.
we dont try to be intimidating, we arent mean to others but they still hate us because of what they think we "stand for" and it pisses me off... ok im done and off my rant.

Homegym brother. Own weight. Own music. Own places. Own equipment:P
dang, i think you go to the same gym as i do. this is why i actually go to several different gyms from month to month. dont want to give up the 24 hr gym bc in peak cutting season i may need to go up their at midnight which is a great option. i think its funny though how they complain about you dropping 120 lb db's, who's going to set those down nice and soft like?
My favorite is when all the douchebags look at you weird because you're in the gym to ACTUALLY move weight and GET big and they are all around talking like its a damn social club.
How about the one who is running around between 6-7 different machines and cable stations that gets all weird looking when you finish some cardio and go to the cable station he just left and start using it (at 4-5x the weight he had on it)
Haha, I'm getting upset thinking about all this stuff right now. I like to stare right at them when they come back and then they just walk away.
Ha i prefer to just grin and leave the pin in so they know exactly how pathetic their circut training really is :-)
