Beef and Broccoli -- again lol
ad
So now that the holiday cheating is over lets post up some good meal ideas to help everyone get back on track..
I got back in the habit of eating garbage/carbs/sweets before bed last weekend so for me eating Beef and Broccoli for dinner (later in evening) has helped me stay full and satisfied at night. I usually crave something as I'm getting ready for bed but a small portion of diced pears and lowfat cottage cheese takes care of my sweet tooth and gives me good slow digesting protein for the night...
What's on ya'll New Years menu?

and i thought this was a cowboy bebop joke
Iv been trying to switch it up as much as possible to avoid getting bored, normally switch between chicken steak chicken steak fish chicken type of thing as well as adding turkey to lunch ground turkey and pasta type dish or turkey burgers on whole wheat breas. However find breakfast to be my most bland and boring meal and need something to add lil flavor to my eggs, also how do you guys feel about turkey bacon, realize its high in sodium but limit
To once or twice a week?
Anonturkey bacon is just a nice way to eat some stuff that isn't all that good for you anyway.. if your gonna eat bacon .. just eat the bacon..
OE2000I love green chili (tomatillo base) with turkey and white beans and onion, lots of cilantro and sliced avocado on top yummy.... Oh try 1/2 cup toasted pine nuts, grind then to almost a flour consistency, stir um in..... makes crazy flavor!
I eat a lot of eggs whites mostly... been eatin 9 hard boiled egg whites yolk tossed and a peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat w/ some honey... or oats i made a big batch steel cuts about 3 1/2 cups worth. I cut up an apple in small pieces, 4oz walnuts, 1/4 cup raisins, cinnamon, and sweeten w/ preferred sweetner to taste... after sitting in the fridge overnight, I needed almost no sweetner the oats absorbed the sugars from the apple pieces... the stuff was good.
I like to throw in a bag of cocktail shrimp when things get a lil monotonous...
AnonYou need to watch your intake of albumin, which will block the absorption of protein...eat some of those yolks to balance itout
sgtstedankoI've been substituting turkey in place of chicken. Honestly like turk better. So basically turkey stir fry, etc, w/veggies &quinoa. I recently went to china town, & got all kinds of surprisingly (healthy) sauces, marinades, curry, etc, etc, etc. Some really good NEW flavors. Helps break monotony:D I highly recommend y'all do the same. Saved me! Feel free to pm me : )
OE2000Plus that 18lb bird, will last all week! Take turk over chick any day!
Chix/sweet potatoes/ braised carrots is what I'm eating this wk till i'm sick of it... next wk will be Fish/brown rice/green beans(with slivered almonds)
AnonSalmon and brown rice.....chicken...steak....veges in the vitamix with gold standard protein....more rice ...red skin potatoes...
Pure lazy here guys-
My quick-fix meal is a frozen salmon fillet microwaved for 4 min and some minute brown rice with a cup of frozen broccoli. Solid meal in under 5 min. Zero flavor but like the beginning says...lazy when it comes to making meals.
JtizzleI would really like to see more members participate in posts such as this to keep focus on DIET! I know this place is EROIDS not Ediet but the newer guys need to keep DIET in the forefront of any and every cycle consideration at all times...
Back to the old fish and brown rice :(
Jtizzlelol not very exciting but having arms like ur avatar come at a price!
Sucks to eat food that tastes like cardboard but, oh well got to sacrifice.
you get used to it after a while. For me, cravings for cheat food go away and then I just get tired of eating period. Im doing the typical 6-7 meals every day, so I feel like I eat more than I train. Some days Im so uninterested in food that I wind up drinking mostly shakes.
