If your going in the quad, Id aspirate because of the major arteries that run through (femoral artery). Glute not needed, delt not needed. But its not gonna hurt to do it. Im not arguing about aspirating or not, Im just stating the facts that in new medical teachings when med students learn injections the newest method is to not aspirate, but hey, whether you pull it back before you inject or not is not the REAL important issue. Whats important is knowing your anatomy and proper places for injection. They change that sh*t all the time. Who knows next yr they'll probably go back to aspirating.
The new teachings are to not aspirate.
