Was getting the yearly vaccinations, blood test, and preventative meds for our littlest pup Bella when the Vet told me they were doing microchips for free with the services I already purchased so thought “Hey why not”.

Technician walked in with a handful of syringes and one stood out in particular… the microchips are small glass capsules like a large grain of rice. Turns out they use 12g needles to insert the chip SubQ. Even the 3 vaccines were 22g-25g.

I was expecting some sort of reaction seeing that harpoon used on a 25lb pup, but she just sat there happy as ever no noise, no movement, no nothing lol!

I don’t think anyone could make me to use a 12g needle even if SubQ lol!

Morale of the story my Bella is tougher than I am!
