Stopping NPP early to improve recovery and PCT - looking for experienced input
Hey guys,
I’d appreciate some input from those with more experience, especially regarding recovery and PCT after 19-nors.
Current situation:
• Running Test E + NPP, both at 350 mg/week, injected Sun/Wed/Fri
• Currently week 5
• AI: Aromasin 12.5 mg Wed & Sun
• MK-677 in the morning only
• No major side effects: sleep is good, libido OK, mood stable
• Only noticeable issue is night sweats, which I understand can be common with NPP
Here’s the key point:
I originally planned to cruise afterward, but I’ve decided I actually want to come fully off and run a proper PCT instead.
Because of that, I’m wondering whether it would be smarter to stop NPP now (week 5) to reduce potential suppression / recovery issues related to 19-nors, even though NPP is a short ester.
The idea would be:
• Drop NPP now
• Continue Test E alone for a short period
• Then stop Test and run a standard SERM PCT
Questions for those with experience:
1. Do you think stopping NPP at week 5 meaningfully improves recovery chances when planning a PCT?
2. For those who’ve used NPP and then gone fully off, how was recovery compared to non–19-nor cycles?
3. Would you personally continue NPP longer, or cut it now given the goal of full recovery?
I’m not panicking or having severe sides — this is more about long-term endocrine health and making a smart exit.
Thanks in advance for any insights.
