+ 1 Didn’t do PCT, 4 months off now, can I still do pct to boost semen volume?

ad

I Never did pct after my 17 weeks testo e 250mg cycle because I felt good, my testo recovered fully, I feel good! The only problem is my testicles are still small and my sperm volume is low, can I take nolvadex 10/20mg for 4 weeks to boost my semen volume ?

If not, what else would help with it? I thought about HcG but it does shut down the HPTA so that would make no sense now being 4 months off.

Im Talking about ejaculate volume,

The problem with HcG is that it shuts you down

From my understanding is hCG acts as LH, which triggers the testicles to produce testosterone. This is why it is commonly recommended prior to starting clomid/tamoxifen PCT. I thought the warnings about taking hCG is that the body can get used to receiving the LH and will shut the bodies production of LH down. But this is after taking alot of it or for extended amounts of time, im talking about just taking it shortly to trigger the effects youre looking for. hCG at doses of 250-500IU twice a week can be effective at preventing and/or returning testicles to "normal" size. You mention Test has recovered fully, but then say your testicles are still small, so im going to make an assumption that maybe your test levels are not back to regular levels yet. Im totally speculating which is why blood test should be used to confirm. Can find more info on HCG by searching around articles on TRT combined with HCG.

Testosterone Enanthate has been, or still is being studied as a male contraceptive. I remember reading about it way back when I was younger. Do you mean sperm volume or ejaculate volume, two different things. Unless you have been tested for sperm levels you really wouldn't know. Same with Test levels also, and seeing as you say your testicle are still small. It could just take more time. If you're asking what you can take I would say look into HCG, it can raise your test levels if you are low and can help with sperm production.

I came across an interesting PubMed article named "Medical management of non-obstructive azoospermia: A systematic review". May answer some of your questions.

Get bloods done and compare them with your baseline bloods. Definitely get bloods done. No PCT after a 17 (plus the several week for the ester to clear) week cycle is madness.

You say you feel good but like mentioned below do you have bloods to support recovery of your testosterone levels? Also even if your testosterone has recovered to a certain degree that doesn't mean your FSH, which is the hormone that's responsible for sperm is fully recovered. Blood test would confirm. Nolva isn't a good FSH stimulator but will boost testosterone

Man I thought nolva stimulates LH and FSH.
So let’s say I take tamox for a month now, will the Testosterone drop down again to what it is now? If yes what is the point in taking tamox after a cycle

DeeMan's picture

Nolva stimulates both but better at LH. I can't tell you if it will drop back down because our bodies are different. Recovery can be a long process for some.

Did you do any blood work to confirm recovery?

Maybe up your water intake, also I like toremifene over clomid or Nolva for cases like this

Wiki-
"Conclusion(s): Toremifene administration for a period of 3 months in men with idiopathic oligozoospermia is associated with significant improvements of sperm count, motility, and morphology, mediated by increased gonadotropin secretion and possibly a direct beneficial effect of toremifene on the testes."
