Summer powerlifting competition prep cycle

Ok Iay get a lot of flack for this cycle but I don't give a shit because I've come a long way and I've learned a lot on this forum. I am entering a powerlifting and strong man competition in September and this cycle is gonna prep me for it. I currently weigh 197lns breaking my marked goal of 200lbs. My goal is 185-190lbs very doable while continuing to shrink my waist although it has shrunk drastically. I will be on a calorie deficit diet but I will be eating 200-250mg of protein per day 2/3 food and milk 1/3 shakes and bars.

I am not a power lifter but your diet plan and cycle plan don't seem to fit the goal of a strongman comp...maybe it's just me tho. U said u don't give a shit so I guess run it and see where u end up

safetyfirst21No. Power meets are based by weight classes, just like wrestling. If you have too much fat and you're in a higher weight class, the leaner guy in the same class is gonna kick your ass. Most likely anyway.

safetyfirst21Ah. Heavier doesn't necessarily mean stronger. Some of those little bastards surprise you too. Also, with power lifting styled training, you train your CNS to fire at a better/faster rate. With this method of training the bigger muscle isn't necessarily the stronger of the two.
