+ 12 Thank you Viking miss you brother!

ad

I remember the very first visit to eroids reading posts by someone called Viking. My life with the iron game needed some inspiration after 40 years of lifting. The injuries and wear and tear had taken their toll, the light that used to burn bright was barely a flicker. My doctor refused to consider trt and I knew at 53 I was suffering from low t so I went to search for the cure myself. Lucky to find eroids and even luckier to have befriended the Brit called Viking. I loved his attitude, pics not words will do the talking. That was all I needed to get my ass in gear. A year and a half later after getting after it I posted my first pics on my 55th birthday. With that and the pics of Viike in competition I thought if I work hard I might compete again one day. Unfortunately the next pic I posted was of my broken wrist after suffering a workplace accident in 2015. I was busted up bad, but by far the worst was the multiple skull fractures and still recurring concussion syndrome. The kind words from all here at eroids helped get me back on my feet. The next pic I posted was from the bodybuilding show where I won the grand master, 16 months after the accident. I have many to thank for the kick in the ass to put this together. My wife who I train with also competed in the same show, is my true inspiration and love of my life. But if not for that first encounter with eroids and in particular Viking, I know this would not have happened. For that Vike I'm forever in your debt. I will make another post with the pics.

Your story is an inspiration. There is no "perfect life." The only "perfect" we get is what we make. +1

Regarding Vike, yup, he kicked a lot of us in the ass and encouraged us to be the best, hardest working versions of ourselves as we could be. He took no shit, he spoke the truth about all things regrading AAS, diet, training, and rest, and his advice has changed many of our lives for the better. I hope he's out pillaging and raiding his enemies. He's missed on eroids, that's for sure. Cheers Bigrigger! -ZeusM

Thanks Zeus. I’m sure it’s a common story here at eroids. Viking is a much missed mentor here by all except the trolls that made his life miserable here. I was hoping he might see this and it’ll put a smile on face. Fr sent

He will be around before long I suspect.

Hope so brother I made the mistake of putting his name in the title which drew the trolls out on a earlier post. It’s not the same here without the mighty Viking!

Im glade everything worked out for you friend. I can only imagine how tough it may had been for you to come back from all you have been through. But for you to come away with a big win like you did is amazing and just shows how dedicated you were to the cause and your willingness to work hard and push through. Alot of the younger guys and new comers hell for that matter alot of the guys who have been on the scene for a while could really learn from you and find inspiration in you and your story. Sounds like you have a really strong support system and a loving wife. Which these day is a hard find. Keep up the good work and stay strong brother. Never lose that fire and desire to over come.

Thanks shaun. New mountains to overcome, I have osteo-arthritis in my right hip. Now working on avoiding hip replacement. No fear my trainer is using gymnastics training and it's working. Gonna post my annual b-day pic and this style of training is awesome. Look for it nov 14. Once again thanks for the kind words brother
