Training to Eat Big

ad

Diet is King in this game, it's the single most important and constant compenont to reaching goals. Some guys (like me) cannot miss a meal due to they're a "hard gainer". Other guys cannot slip up or even enjoy a cheat meal due to their metabolism or food allergies.

As a hard gainer and a long time natty guy I trained myself to eat in the parking lot at the gym and walk straight into deads and squats, it took some puking and some uncomfortable times but I adjusted. Due to my work schedule and gym time I had to incorporate that meal and it worked.

Another important time for some guys to eat is bedtime. I even trained myself to wake up and eat at 2am.

I am a skinny frame guy that reached 245lbs, 10% BF Natty.

Lead and the body will follow.

never a good thing to eat that soon to activity. digestion requires a lot of blood to complete the processes. as a result, blood vessels are dilated in this area of the body. when blood vessles dilate in one area, blood vessels in all other areas constrict. this is the bodies way of providing appropriate blood to the working body system, since we constantly have the same volume of blood.

problem here is that the digestive response signals the brain that it needs more blood. the brain sends signals that constrict blood vessles in other areas of the body so that it can reroute what is needed to the GI tract. where it gets tricky is when a second system is incorporated simultaneously - muscular system. when muscles contract, they also send a signal to the brain to increase blood flow. once again, this is accomplished thru vaso-dilation at the system in need and vaso-constriction in all other areas. because digestive processes are underway at this time, the body cannot support both systems simultaneously. it is these reasons why side effects such as dizziness, nausea, and cramping can occur.

just food for thought. i don't post much, but i wanted to chime in a bit on this one.
