CleyonI've answered the question I just asked Perses. Yes, salmonella poisoning is a legitimate risk with raw, unpasteurized, egg-whites. Luckily Egg Whites International had the answers I was looking for, and really good pricing! I just ordered two gallons from them for $72 shipped. I also threw in a couple of the pumps, so it was a little over $90. That should be a pretty significant savings over buying them a quart at a time in Wally World.
I had some like this last week, egg beaters brand.. outside said whites, inside was yellow. I've had egg whites before, like the kroger brand and they were basically clear or milky. Maybe they can have a lil yolk in them and still be called whites?
