WOW! After watching mentzers HIT training I decided to give it a shot. OH MAN is it fucking intense. My BP was spiking, HR jumped to 170 palpitating like a motherfucker, muscles felt so pumped and torn and destroyed. I was grunting sweating and reaching new levels of pain and intensity. Seriously, its that hard and brutal

While I dont agree with doing HIT training completely as a workout, I incorporated it into my normal workout. I just do a few sets of HIT on machine isolation exercises and Im loving it so far! My favorite is the pec deck! Super slow skin tearing pec tearing negatives FTW!

Hello,
I have been on the HIT program now for 16 weeks and loving it, best gains I have ever made, gym time is around 30 mins and I feel totally blasted when I leave. The key to HIT training is the long rest periods between workouts, believe me when you go to failure on each set pushing max weight for 6-8 reps you need the rest to revive your muscles. Less time in the gym and better gains over the same period as conventional training how can you go wrong?
LOL fuck yeah on leg day its BRUTAL. The quad extensions are bad enough, but jumping straight into HIT leg press is excruciating. My legs gave out once, they were shaking so bad they started going numb lol my spotter had to jump in.
Yup. Training hard is key. I notice most guys at the gym hardly break a sweat. They stare at me and my partner funny when we have our pain faces with every set we do
Haha that's funny. I am not having a go at you but I have seen a lot of people do and say the same thing. Most of the time (might not be your case) they can't handle training like that on the bigger muscle groups. Let's face it you can that on shoulders arms and chest. But as soon as it comes to back and especially legs most people whimp out. It is the ultimate way to force your body to grow. If you want to get big uou have to train hard. Pure and simple.
Ahhh Metzner was the man. Loved his HIT stuff.
56tooWow dude, I hadnt seen Mike and Ray since they were in the magazines 30-35yrs ago Wow
