AnonI'm looking forward to hitting my shoulders harder on the cycle I'm about to start with Uncle's Deca. It's my 3rd time to run Deca but it only takes one run with Deca to learn how much easier it is on joints when training. It's been bothering me that I haven't been hitting my shoulders as hard as I like for fear of shoulder injury again. I haven't had a shoulder injury in years but I been careful. Now it's time for me to hit them harder and I feel confident doing so running Deca.

Just keep in mind that if there's damage there, it's still there even if you can't feel it. Do those long warm ups and rehab exercises for shoulder to keep them healthy.
AnonIt was years ago when an MRI showed some tearing of my supraspinatus tendon. I rehabbed it and still do my physical therapy exercises with resistance bands. I got a band tied to a door knob right now for internal and external rotations. I have a really good sports medicine doc who taught me rehab exercises and gave me a sheet of paper with drawings of rehab exercises to do with bands. He gave me bands too. Even in the gym I start with bands and do a few diff rehab exercises then some stretches of the shoulders, the kinda stretches that can be done in a door frame.
The thing about shoulders is some guys are prone to shoulder injury. There is 3 main types of acromion
If you got type 3 you are screwed as a lifter and probably gonna battle impingement, bursitis, cuff tears...etc until shoulder decompression surgery to make more room for the tendon to glide between the acromion and head of the humerus. I don't have type 3 I just been hard on my body. I will be taking good care of my shoulders brother.
I had type 3 and both acromions shaved down and labrum repairs. Rough. 3 shoulder surgeries but been healthy since.
