This is the new Corvette Stingray isn't it?

Pretty sure these are £100k over here

You must have a pretty good job mate to afford one of these - what do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking?

press1's picture

Mate that's Brilliant - very happy for you! I have heard before on here from another member who owns a pipelining company that its a very good business to be in. Although it can be hard graft, its a specialized industry isn't it so you can earn very good money doing it. I actually fell a bit in love with excavators earlier this year when the front road was being dig up with a big and small excavator for the water pipes to be replaced!! I would film them all day out the front window especially the medium sized one with the Pecker on the front taking the road apart - I found it fascinating to watch LMAO Hilarious thing is that they went through a raised water valve they didn't realise was there with the pecker and the valve was spraying water for a week before they managed to get it fixed LOL I often wondered just what kind of mess it would make of a human if they were laid underneath it Diablo HAhaha

My best friend’s dad owned a pipelining business that operated out of Philly and Tampa. Sold it a few years back for over $10 million and retained a couple patents for passive income. I never knew it was such a lucrative industry but it makes sense if you think about it. Everywhere people live there are a shit ton of pipes lol. Glad you’re doing well for yourself brother.

Guy's a question - If I want to get some wooden laminate pulled up in my apartment and some creaking floorboards that have risen up, screwed back down into the wooden timber Joists would I need a Joiner for this kind of job?

Milfpounder's picture

Oh. Here in the US a joiner in a tool used to square one face and one edge of a board so when those two surfaces are placed against the fence and top of a table saw the resulting cut is square. Then off to the planer for thiccccnesss

But to answer your question, you need what we call a DRILL to complete the task you're asking about. And some screws and a pilot bit. And some no ester test so you can just rip ur fucking flooring up with ur bare hands like the animal you are.

scoobydoo's picture

The UBC is The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. You're thinking of a jointer. A joiner is more of a cabinet or furniture maker usually working in a workshop.

Milfpounder's picture

Oops ur right I forgot the T. Forget everything I just said. J-O-I-N-T-E-R

press1's picture

If I pay ya will you come over and fix it - you sound like you know what you are doing?!! LMAO I'll give ya Fish & Chips for afters too with a cup of Tea and a Scone LMFAO!!!

Milfpounder's picture

I'll pass on all the food. My favorite beer is Newcastle and it isn't imported to the US anymore. It's made here on license by some crappy ass brewery that changed everything about it. I'll do anything you want for some nukies.

Milfpounder's picture

I own a jointer. Just dunno how to spell it lol

press1's picture

Am I allowed to say you have a Sexy Ass Jointer mate?!!!!!

I know this sounds as Bullshitty as you can get, but its actually true lol - My Grandfather who use to live in California was actually a carpenter by trade, he built Clint Eastwood a house many years ago lol He was stationed over here during the War as a US Fighter PIlot which is how he met my Grandmother all those years ago and how my family was created.

Milfpounder's picture

Ah man that's so badass. Ur grandpa was just flying around shooting missiles and populating the earth hahahaI love hearing history tidbits like that. I grew up in California as well. Dipped out a while back when people started pooping all over the place.

press1's picture

I actually have an American surname because of him, which the english always misspell on forms LMAO I wanted to come over and live there when I was 25 but it just didn't work out that way, got a bit homesick whilst there but to be fair I never really gave mysef chance to settle in. Don't actually think I could even afford to live there now!

scoobydoo's picture

Nice. Is that a 6"or 8"? I have a 6" delta jointer.

Milfpounder's picture

It's a 6". The house I had when I bought it didnt have 220 in the garage and I didn't wanna fuck around with adding it. of course new house has 220. @press1 probably laughing at us cause I think everything is 220 over on his neck of the woods right? I remember reading something about Jim Marshall modding out fender amps to work over there until he made his own shitty high gain amps. Waaay off topic over here.

scoobydoo's picture

If it doesn't have 220, can you really call it a garage? Lol

Milfpounder's picture

Hell nah. That's why I bought this cursed, haunted house that is falling apart around me that I can barely afford with a 7.375% interest rate. But it has 220 in the garage so 100% worth it.

press1's picture

WTF is a 220???? LMAO

press1's picture

Do you mean Volts?
