claimed he was snipers but didn't know what a 'hogs tooth' was, called a M110 an ar10 and a bunch of other things,little things that civilians probably wouldn't know including training and indoc. later the gym manger,who's a fellow devil dog broke it down for me by saying "he has delusions of grandeur"... I couldn't do anything to him so I just tell every prior service member in the gym about him.
In today's society it's a shame that this kind of daily activity from these scum-bags doesn't carry some kid of law against it and maybe a sentence for breaking it too. MAYBE... a 12 month sentence in an army boot camp would be suffice? But then these sentences would only give these low-life's a small amount of value to their claims. SMH.
Take it from a Marine whom was stationed on an army base. Their boot campp would be a vacation. You have recruits going to the exchange on the weekends buying pogy bait eating a bunch of fat nasty food undoing all the work not to mention they make phone calls and buy whatever they want to take back to their squad bay, and they get leave for Christmas during boot camp. Real hard chargers. Lol
Everyone is enamored with the Chris Kyle story. And in my mind he was a hero. However he was also a glory hound. And made up bullshit stories to make himself look better. He and his wife claimed all book sales went to help servicemen and their families. Tax records show less the 7% went to familes and servicemen. The rest to their personal account. Which they deserve just don't lie about it. He also claims to have killed two car jackers in Texas. Texas state police have no record of any such incident. He claims that the government landed him and a spotter on top of the Superdome during Katrina. Where he says they shot 30+ looters. Well that would be murder. And bullshit. So even real servicemen can sometimes spin a yarn. Hell I served 4 years in the army. I was an armor who mostly worked in small arms. Never saw combat and won't make up any claim to. I served. Period. Did my part. Sorry rant over.

Oh god, i ran into one of these people in the pool hall last night, kept claiming he was a sargent in the marines and had just got back, but couldn't or wouldn't go into specifics, yea rite frat boy, i was not enlisted in the US military but a soldiers mystique transcends nationality and demographic, you can just tell when they are lying

all you got to do to trip him up is to ask him where he was stationed, with whom, when, and where he was deployed.. I m sure you'll be able to trip him with some facts because he won't be able to answer properly
that's basically what happened. he didn't know things that infantry would know as a basic skill set, let alone snipers (US Army).

I don't know if Army has a CAB database. I'm an inactive 0311.

I'm prior service Marine Corps I'm not familiar with the armies alphanumeric system for MOS. but with that being said just because someone's not infantry doesn't mean they can't get killed or be caught up in a fire fight all the same... That government contract we signed with Uncle Sam is a motherfucker.
Don't forget that sweet $400k devil that goes to the fam bam, sure we all tore up $500k worth of shit growing up but we almost broke even going out. Haha, it's about the small things.

11series is Infantry which is what I did for 8 years. Started out 11-M, reenlisted 11-B and ended up an 11-V2P at the end of my career which was cut short by a ruptured achilles tendon. I got to know some marines while at airborne and ranger school and they earned my respect. They were technically and tactfully proficient. Very squared away.
