I highly recommend you rotate to your quads. Both the vastus lateralis muscle of the thigh and ventrogluteal muscle of the hip give a lot of area for injection. I know most people start with their deltoids but to be honest sitting in a chair and pinning your thighs is not only easier, but each thigh provides not one but two large muscles for injection, and you can inject a short distance away from a previous spot as these thigh muscles are very large. The deltoid you are injecting very close to the same spot every time, and can be prone to scar tissue.

Using the thighs you do right ventrogluteal, then 3.5 days later left ventrogluteal. Then 3.5 days later right vastus lateralis, then 3.5 days later left vastus lateralis. In another 3.5 days you are back to the right ventrogluteal.

A nice 14 days between injecting the same site, and with plenty of surface area to move the injection side up or down an inch or so from the last.

You can rotate the deltoid heads. The thing is, in my experience, front felt injections can lead to painful pip and rear felt injections are hard to do by your self. But it certainly can be done.

The quad is a big muscle. Large injection site. Straighten your leg out while sitting and flex. Trace the muscular ridge all the way up near your hip. If your toes are up towards the ceiling, then the spot should be "upper and outer quad." Can't miss it

Ventro glute...never did hit that yet. Ppl explaim how good a site it is. Guess it's tough to hit by yourself? In all the years I've been doing this, there is always more to learn

helloBrooklyn's picture

I'm too nervous to try VG. It's such a small site and I don't want to hit the wrong spot. I'm scared of hitting my hip bone. Kind of embarrassing but true

Ventro gluteal is best site, i learned how to do it in school but you can learn how to site it on internet, easiest site by far to use.

All those guides I see require a second person to locate it with his or her hand in a position that would be impossible for the injector to do himself. When I'm standing and I shift the weight on and off of my leg, I see and feel a muscle bulging out around my hip. From what I understand, that is the site. One day I will try.

There are some good videos on line that's how I learned to pin ventro. It's a lot bigger area than you think and actually hard to miss. I don't know if I missed or not but a couple times I did get some bad pip. It is worth the risk of some pain to learn to use them I feel. When I'm pinning daily or every other day it's pretty much needed. Give it a shot man you will love using them once you learn. Just my experience from one juice head to another. .

Thought you'd never offer

Basically been my worry too...afraid to not hit it. I have heard of crippling hip pain if you do miss it, so yea same here man Smile

My wife hits mine. The first few times she was aiming for it scared me. I remember stopping her saying " you're gonna stab me in the fucking bone! Are you sure that's where it is?" She knows what she's doing, just looked bad from where I stand.

Thanks much for the advice, I actually started with the quads and was doing that for some time. Switched to the delts because there came a point where once again on my right side it was getting extremely hard to inject. And when I say hard I mean trying to force the oil out of the syringe and it literally taking about 4-5 min to get 2-2.5 cc in my right side, but not the left. Figured scar tissue at that point but I'm no expert here. It has been close to a year since I have done quads and was thinking about rotating them back in to see if maybe things changed. Once again thanks for the info as it is greatly appreciated.

Just curious, what size pin are you using?

(Personally I use a 25 gauge to pin in with).

Also, whenever I pin into the legs, no matter what the compound, I swell up, and an abscess will grow within hours of pinning them, so I stick with the delts, and glutes for my needs

As I said, just curious if the size of the pin may be causing you an issue when injecting

Best regards, as always Smile

I prefer 25g slim wall also. And I prefer to heat up the oil a bit to make it flow a little nicer

JustAMate's picture

Then it has to be your muscles.

They're obviously too big, and intimidating to mortal metal (LOL) Smile

Normally 2nd week out would refer the amount of time you have left between today and an upcoming show or powerlifting meet, etc. I'm not understanding what ya mean by 2nd week out almost 3rd? lol

helloBrooklyn's picture

Wut?

ChrisMdPaNc's picture

Well said dude. You obviously understood my point when dude said he's 2 weeks out on tren, almost 3??? Haha. And I'm glad you compete. I might pick your brain sometime if you're cool with that. Ya know, since you have a girlfriend and I know you're not gay like the rest, according to mister "oweeeee my chest hurts from tren."
