The only thing that will go bad is the oil, which will smell weird if so. I have oil that’s years old in my kitchen cabinet that’s fine. Some of the stuff added in brewing greatly extends shelf life too. I think gear is good 5-10 years.
gladiator-crabsi wonder how a lab determines the expiration date ?. more than likely they just pick a random date... its not like there is a scientific formula.. its just raw in B.A., AND MAYBE SUM B.B , WITH SUM WARM GSO.... NOT VERY COMPLICATED..

In my experience, expired gear is perfectly usable. Didn't even lack in potency.
