I couldn't have said it better myself bro. People look at addicts like their trash but their not they were once good people who like you said made a few bad choices. Ive lost alot of close friends over the years to that shit and I about lost my own life to it 6yrs ago. Finnialy got my life together and ive been clean ever since. I say a prayer every night for all the addicts out there that they might see the light and get clean. I wouldn't wish addiction on my worst enemy

I truly thank God that I over came my addiction before this stuff came around.
I could have easily been one of the casualties to it.

I still blame the govt for this once again they put dope in the streets just like the coke in the 80s which became crack and once again after they put h on the street from afghan it now has become fet and now they are once again cleaning up the mess they created.

You couldn't be more correct. Opioids are NO JOKE. The devastating fact is addiction is a family disease and crushes everything in its path. Usually addicts want so badly to be "cured" or to feel normal but without the drug life can't go on. It turns into a primal conflict where food, sleep, sex, etc will be sacrificed for the drug. I despise the people who line their pockets from people suffering from active addiction. The money that's paying for those drugs generally comes from family and friends that are robbed blind or manipulated by the addict. I understand no one made them pick ip that first pill or snort that first line but once they are down the infamous rabbit hole it's a constant chase. Just sad. If only people had morals instead of selling these super lethal substances to the unsuspecting population. Especially when the kids that know everything who are under 18 are dropping like flies from these synthetics being mass produced.
